Nicole,
Thank you very much for posting my pics.
Now musclecm,
Never give up your hobby of body building.
I started training when I was 30 years old. Due to a low back
problem. Soon I caugh the bug. It became my hobby. The first 5 years I didn't make much progress. I kept reading and learning how to train and EAT. The last 5 years have been very productive. My first show was the PowerHouse Classic in May of 2000. I was 165# about 4% BF hard and lean yet full.
There were 22 guys in the middle weights. My wife and I looked at each other and said "what the f**k 22 guys in my weight class". We came this far there was no turning back now. I did all of my home work and was ready to compete. Pre judging went well I was in the first call. I had to think for a moment "did the judge just call my number?" My night routine went well. It was to "We are the Champions by Queen. Remember I'm a little older then say all of these guys. When the judging was all over with I came home with 3rd place. I will never forget that show. It was great!
I just stared out at my wife (Debbie) and thought damn I must be fairly competitive for an old dog. She was smiling from ear to ear.
So, please keep your sites set on your long range goals.
I just did a final shave down for my last show of the season.
We fly out tomorrow morning for Florida. I'm looking forward to the show and a break. I think I hear a beach calling my name.
Thanks for all the props everyone. I'll let everyone know how this Ohio dog stacks up to the Florida boys when I get back.
Thanks,
