Ever since the advent of a paternalistic, warrior father deity, being born female has been far more complicated, demeaning or generally difficult than being born male.

Besides, you're assuming you'd be born as a female in America or one of the other progressive nations. How much would you be loving life if you were born female, say, in Iraq to a fundamentalist Muslim family?
