Oxycodone mess with gear?

what???? How and where do you get this from?

If you take any nonsteroidal anti-inflammation medication (NSAID), they could be working against your goals in the gym. Although NSAIDs can help with muscle and joint pain, they also interfere with the catabolic muscle repairing process. Here’s How: NSAID medications block prostaglandins, stress chemicals that generate muscle stem cells. Also known as satellite cells, these nucleus-only cells combine with muscle cells that were stressed or damaged during your workout to promote repair and adaptation.

Because these satellite cells are so important to protein synthesis and the formation of new muscle tissue, you should use NSAID type medications only when absolutely necessary. Supplements like glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and fish oil all have anti-inflammatory qualities. So does the olive oil you can buy at any supermarket.

I guess im not taking any more tylenol or aspirin.....

shit son, why don't u send me up some of dem OC's when your ank starts feeling better. lol

nahhh fuck it, i'll stick with tha 80's

i hope you are kidding. OC addiction is horrible and is very wide spread. I was on em recreationally for a while and it SUCKED getting over the withdrawals. I wouldn't wish that pain upon my worst enemy.

Oxycontin is pure oxycodone
Vicoden is Hydrocodone + 500mg acetaminophen ; which is horrible on your liver
Percocet is oxycodone + acetaminophen ; again bad for the liver

All forms of Hydro/oxycodone are HIGHLY physically addictive if used for an extended period of time. And yes they do bind you up bad. If you are only using 5mgs every 4-6 hours, you should be alright as long as you stop taking them when you no longer need them. ie. if you're not in pain...don't take any. Also, as sopac said acetaminophen does work against gains; however only if you are taking them regularly and at the high dose range. I try not to take any of that junk period, I've seen too many people get hooked, and their life flushed right down the crapper!!! Just be sure you take them as prescribed and when they are needed to relieve any pain that you can't handle. If you are a bodybuilder then you should be able to take a little PAIN :chomp:
