Opinions on my diet

Well i hve been on this current diet for about 8 days now, i have dropped from 245lbs to 242 and im just trying to see if i need to change something or keep up what im doing now.

Breakfast- usually a bowl of some type of whole wheat cereal, or 3 eggs with toast.

mid morning- either beef jerky or some type of fruit.

lunch- grilled chicken breast and baked potato, plain soft tacos, brown rice/chicken breast/egg mixture.

mid afternoon- fruit

dinner- grilled chicken breast and a protien shake or smoothie at my local gym. Usually a steak on the weekends.

Drinking water throughout the day, one glass of milk a day and maybe a powerade or two, maybe.

Also i just started taking Thermorexin today, 1 pill 3 times a day.

That is my diet and i do weight training every day of the week (for the past 3 weeks anyway) My goal is to get down in the 210-220lb range maybe less. Any input is appreciated.

Breakfast - drop the cereal/toast for whole oats

I wouldn't eat fruit while cutting.

Powerade - get that thing the fuck away from you. That is a massive insulin spike.

Your gym smoothie is probably shit - if it's anything like most gym smoothie's its probably loaded with sugars and tons of calories.

I wouldn't drink milk of any kind on a cut.

Those are just my opinions - others may differ.

Cut the simple sugars and up the protein. Taking any flax oil supps? Figure out your active metabolic rate and eat 500 cals under that.

Thanks guys now i have a good idea of what i need to do, like i said i know nothing about cutting so your input should really help out. Also im not taking any flaxx supplements of any kind, what would you reccommend?

Also watchout for the processed foods, i.e., tacos/breads. Drop the baked potato for a sweet potato or brown rice. Like the others said, get rid of the powerade, milk, gym smoothie, fruit, beef jerky has a ton of chemicals to preserve it not to mention TONS of sodium. Make sure you're drinking 1-2 gallons of water daily. Flax oil is a must, its the most efficient/potent source of flax I believe (compared to the flax caps, etc). And didnt see any mention of green veggies such as broccoli. My 2 cents.

Damn, i didnt realize that. This whole time im thinking im on a good diet haha. Looks like i was wayyy off. Thanks again for the info now i just need to get some flaxx supp. Yeah i forgot to mention veggies, i probably dont eat enough though.

my 2 cents:

- stick w/ natural foods like beef, chicken, eggs, fish and fibrous vegetables (I love sauteed spinach and mushrooms).

- aim for 1gram/lb of protein per day.

- fish oil and olive oil are the king of good fats.

See if you can assemble a plan that includes these three suggestions.
