Ok..this has been beat up more than a red-headed step-child...........so, I come to you to help us settle this for good...........You train in the afternoon and slam your PW shake of glucose and whey about 6:30pm.....you have to crash by 8:30 cause your day starts about 5am....sometimes earlier......so, you have 2 hours (guiess it doesnt matter the time) between you shake and bed........do you STILL consume a decent sized meal, even though you could be potentially asleep in 10 minutes? Or do you just hold off and hope the shake holds you over? If you do eat, would do or would u consume? Going to eat, shower, brush teeth and crash................

guess what im gonna say :)

I know bro..and you had some solid ideas.....Karma to you big time....just want to see other views........thanks again man.......some people just won't let it settle.........THe best is that some still believe that no carbs after 6pm in the RULE.....what??? Is there 6pm police??????

It's up to you, if you gain fat easily then just take protein. But me, I could eat a pizza before bedtime and not gain a gram of fat. :)

after workout i have my post work out shakes... creatine and protein, then about 45-60 minutes later i have a big meal. then i go about eating every 2-3 hours after... but i think your goin to be fine having a meal before bed. just as long as its not sugar

Ok, now how about some suggestions for all................obviously this would not pertain to those that train early............

before bed, why not some chicken/ steak and some lettuce and olive oil
and others say you need the carbs now since you haven't had any but fast digesting since training...........
