ome things I think I hve finally learned about people

Yes that is a buddhist teaching. Basically any attachment (emotional) you have to anything will bring you pain eventually, because things end and people die and change and fuck you over. Since you can't change that reality, you change your expectations and u stay unattached.

I think having a dog is a good idea...the dog will die, but that's the only let down you have to deal with. Otherwise its just straight up unconditional love.

Life is pain. Fuck life. :finger:

A wise one you are. Tell it like it is. We keep on trying in the face of impossible odds.

I was just telling this nice woman that I'm dating that circumstances is what dictates whether or not I'm happy. She replied, "That you need to learn to be happy in any situation." That is just not realistic thinking.

The P7 just kicked in. Now I feel pretty un-bitter. I feel, like, at peace with the inherent shittiness of life. Maybe taking P-7, combined with having a dog, make life livable. I dunno, a cat might be okay too, never had one. :)
