Oldest guys who juice

Who the oldest guy you know of who juices?

And I'm not talking about HRT...I mean hitting the gym hard, running real doses and holding mass. There's a guy at my gym who's in his late 40s and is obviously on roids. He looks great. I plan on doing this as long as I can.

ye 50+, thats awsome, personally though i think after im done having kids im going on hrt, by then i should have achieved the physique i want.

I know a few fifty year old guys who are gassed up and they look awesome. Imagine the muscle maturity after all those years!

I'll be 48 by the end of this year, and into my 4th or 5th cycle...started juicing at around 41...I work hard, play hard, eat well, limit the booze and hit the gym for pushing my limits on the racks and burning off the extra with cardio...all I can say is that I want to be the best I can be and if using gear (safely) is going to help keep the quaity of my lifestyle high, then count me in! No one quesses my age by my looks, but more to the point...I'm one of the only adults in my very large family that actually has the energy to play with my nieces and nehews when we gather a family...that's what its really about for me...having the energy to enjoy doing the things in life that you love to do...and well...looking great while you're doing it? That's a benifit I'll take any day!

Im 32 i love to hear older guys doin it & have-in the BALLS 2 do it. I will go as long as i can. Its a better way of life :rainbow:

I'm fifty and I'd bitch slap you if you called me an "Older Guy" to my face! Older guys are the ones with walkers that can't stand up.

lol. You guys are an inspiration to me. If all goes well, I'll be doing the bitch slapping when I hear "Older Guy" some day too... :chomp:

54y.o. and just completed my 1st cycle.I'm on week 5 of pct and it looks as though i'm going to keep a lot of my gains.
I've been lifting for over 20 years, and the last few years I got tired of hard work and no gains.Apparently I had reached my genetic potential. The proper gear and the right pct helped me get over the plateau I was on and I have no regrets at all.In fact i'm looking forward to my next cycle.
Thanks to everybody on EF(too many people to mention) for all the great info that helped me get to the next level.

Radar, are you on year round? This has undoubtedly been asked before, but what are you using?

Damn-you're doing better than me. I'm in my 30's and fell like I'm in my 20's. Maybe if I up my mgs I'll feel 18 again? lol

The best part for me is still getting attention from the girls I found attractive in my 20's. Most guys in the 30+ range are soft beer bellied guys with big flat asses, narrow shoulders and skinny calves. A lot of them have lower back probs that make them reliant on Vicoden, etc to be able to do anything even remotely active. People never believe me when I tell them how old I am. Then again, most guys my age have lived most of their adult life waking up to an alarm clock after 4-5 hrs sleep and following their predetermined daily schedules revolving around their stressful careers, eating shitty foods and downing a shitload of booze. (Where can I sign up for that??? Not!!!) Sure, some play in softball leagues or golf-but what usually follows is more shitty food and booze. Throw a wife and kids in the mix and you're really spreading yourself thin, not to mention accelerating the body's aging process even more.

Life is all about choices. You can do what everybody else does, or you can seek out the things that truly make your authentic self happy. This easier said than done because most people's image of happiness is actually someone else's image of happiness(inspired by friend's and family's expectations of who you should be, societal norms, TV, etc) that they attempt to emulate. People bashed on me for living the BB lifestyle at age 19 because I didn't blindly follow the normal path most people take. Sometimes it affected me more than others but for the most part I remained true to myself and my own desires. Selfish? You betcha! Life is short!

How about that one guy that was on the HBO Real Sports special that was on this last summer?

He took Mr. Arizona at like age 51 and did a few years in federal prison and he's like 74 now and still looks amazing for his age. Very lean and looks 20 years younger. I can't remember his name at all, i'll have to watch that video cause i know he has a website somewhere out there too.

you're so right.

I am in at 48. Been working out and cycling since 28. At 37 married my wife who was 21 at the time and she approached me. I think it has definitely kept me younger. Even my kids think I look great to be 48.

Bob Klapp-my old source's source back in the early 90's. He's a high school f-ball coach in Paradise Valley, AZ(pretty much The Bel-Aire, CA of the Phoenix area).

I actually saved that post on my computer. It was one of those few seldom posts I save from msg baords b/c they are just that damn good. I couldn't agree more and I couldn't have said it better myself.

I'm in my early 20's and I hope to keep this mindset throughout my life. I see the fork in the road that many of my peers (including myself) have to take: live the pre-determined norm and settle for mediocricy, or do what you really want.

I don't think it's about having the balls to do it. When you hit 40+ your idea of what's important changes. I could care less about being 250 lbs and 8% BF. I'd rather be 210 lbs with 8% BF and a 50 resting HR.

Tru dat!...I know i could care less to come on the scene as the next Dorian Yates now. Now when i was 23yrs old i felt different. I mean id like to be as big as possible but be healthy now. And i dont want to feel as if im gonna lose anymore. I just want to be one size and stay there. The yo yoing gets old.

My wife is thirteen years younger then me. It's like getting to live the last decade over again. I got married at 36. Life is GOOD.

good post DT. when you are in your 20s you want to be all big and intimidating. this doesnt really matter when you get older, but being buff and fit ALWAYS looks good.

juicing does not have to mean being freakily huge. if done right can give you that something extra. you can bring your physique to a new level. and ya, a little extra size still is cool after 40.

Absolutely.

As a young man, I felt I had to overcompensate because I was an extreme ecto. At 18 I was 6', 130#. Now that I've been big (not nearly as big as radar et al, but big for me), I no longer feel the need to strut.

Let me add that as you age, carrying around all that extra muscle begins to wear on your joints. When I was bigger in my mid 40's, I couldn't go running anymore because it tore up my ankle and shins (not a joint, but you know what I mean). I've since dropped 20-25 # of both fat and muscle, and can now run again without suffering for days afterwards.

The downside is all the weight loss has left skin around my neck loose, which make me look more wrinkled and aged. Still, young girls in my salsa class flirt with me and tell me my graying hair is sexy. I'll take what I can get. :verygood:

if that really bothers you you can get that fixed by a good plastic surgeon. but you are a guy and sound kinda fit and happenin' so sure it doesn't really look that bad anyhow.

i know women that have had plastic surgery to tighten up neck area and supposedly extremely painful.

51 yrs old here...

been on steady since 40...not trying to get freaky huge....just keeping a good size with good muscle tone altho im bigger than most of the guys at GOLDS and still have all my hair...

Now thats a compliment :) . Been takin gear on & off since I was 21 (mainly off). I agree witht the health thing, I have daughter now and I want to live as long and as healthy as I can so I can spend the most time possible with her. Priorities...........they do change

Great question,

I loaded your thread with a little of my own Karma to help you get a better answer faster! You can release it later to the member who's answer you liked best.

This feature called "Karma Awarded Threads" alows you to give members an incentive to help you out!

Platinum Members, when you create a new thread, select the "Additional Option" Award Karma to This Post. You can then upload Karma to your question and when you get an answer that you like, you can award it to the person who provided you with that answer.

Let's say that there's an older thread that you created that you did not get many responses on. Open that thread, and click the link "Thread Tools" and you can retroactively create a Karma Awarded Thread. Click the Thread Tools menu and select the option under the "Platinum Copy" feature.

Enjoy! And good luck to the winner!

Have you heard of Jeff Sorensen? He was one of the better chi-town guys in the late 80's. I think he was like 35 then-so he'd be pushing 50 now.

I'm 42 and used AS for three years straight around 20 years ago. Kept alot of muscle not size. But after rotator cuff and tennis elbow surgery I have decided to use again for at least the next couple of years. I am going to try to build up again before I get too old (last hurrah, maybe). My base is much stronger and bigger than before so I will be taking low doses. I know I not the oldest but probably one of the older guys.

I think it is great that there are so many 40-50 yr old guys that are still working hard. I am 38, so I am not too far off, but good to know that I have10+ years of still working as hard as when I was 20 and feeling young.

Old timers rule! :)
