Dude, what the hell is your problem? Jeez, i cant check the board for a few hours while i work, and this is what happens. YES stang is around 20, like myself, and YES he really hasnt done as many cycles as many people, but he, like I, knows a great deal about gear and cycles, why?? BECASUE HE, LIKE I, READS AND STUDIES!!! You dont have to do 20 cycles to know shit, just cause youve done some doesnt mean shit. And the dude he was ragging on deserved the shit he got, ive seen MANY people just sit there and bump, especially on ip posts. Ive pointed these people out a few times, and they stop. Yeah, stang likes to say good job and all that, but who else will? He shows genuine interest in the progress of others, and likes to make sure theyre encouraged to continue, not feel like noone cares. I myself will read comments from people excited about their results, and i want to post something like he does, but my time is limited, and i am far too self-centered to really feel happy for someone else. However, I have NOT seen him give incorrect advise, proof of this i would like to see. Also, maybe he doesnt sit here all day trying to educate people about how these drugs work at the molecular level and such, but there many peole here to do just that. Stew meat in particular, has said to me he would never leave this board, because he loves to teach, and as long as there are newbies here, and there always will be, he'll be here. So for you to say the things youve said, id say youre worse than the guy just bumping shit up to get respect. Youre irritating, and angry, like the customer who goes to blockbuster after a bad day just to bitch at the helpless employees, because they cant say anything. These people hide behind someones need for employment and money, you hide behind a keyboard. O and one more thing, stang is a regular at Anabolic Fitness, and we like him there too. I doubt i can say the same for an asshole like you. Youd never survive. Mike
 
i read that whole thread and the only comments i can make are-

1) mustang doesn't say "good job" or anything like that just to up his post count. he does it to encourage people and give them confidence. There's NOTHING wrong with that.

2) he doesn't hand out bad advice. If he doesn't know alot about something he stays away from the thread. For instance, if there's a thread between andy13 and IG about the chemical structure and relase times of certain drugs, mustang stays clear of it. He knows that he doesn't have knowledge in that area and would rather not try to act like he does.

3) number of cycles means nothing
 
Thanks a lot guys. Nimrod, you really know your stuff and I am VERY impressed with the vast amount of knowledge you display on this board. You are proof that us younger guys know what we are talking about as well.

And when it comes to really stupid ass posts, he's very tame compared to most.....often gives constructive criticism.

I'm a young guy too (18). I don't know nearly as much as nimrod or mustang, or have the experience they do. I do know a few things but I don't think post count should determine one's knowledge. If that's the case I should be around 200 posts. But it's not. I'm here to have fun and learn, not become a biochem major. The funny thing is I go to the search engine and read my very 1st post and can't help but laugh. I think the same goes for alot of people on this board...live and learn.
 
I have to agree, I have had some questions as a "newbie" on this board, and Mustang has been more then helpful to me in posts as well as emails. I had no idea he was only 20, and from the help he gave me I would have thought he had done many cycles. In any case, I'm glad we have people like him and Nimrod and Methyl Mike on this board to give you straight answers when we need them. I wish more guys were like them on this board, instead of some of the people on here who are only here to flame someone about a legitimate question they may have, just because they feel that it was a stupid question, because they "feel" they know more than everyone else. Thanks to Mustang and everyone else who has helped me in the past with any questions I may have had.

i didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. i went back and read the posts again. i can see where i came on pretty strong. i'll apologize if it will make any of you feel any better. i thought when i said that i didn't think m18 was bad guy that it wouldn't seem like a personal attack on him but i can see where it did and i can see where i got worse in my reply. the one guy called me a tool aafter my reply- that was funny enough. anyway let me rebut some of the statements made here- i understand that m18 and some of you young guys "read and study" all that you can and that's great- it shows initiative BUT without application it is only theory or conceptual. it's like saying you read and study about martial arts so now you're qualified to give out advice there as well. without actually applying the knowledge in it's proper setting. hopefully you see what i'm saying here. i'm trying to be as diplomatic here as possible. i don't think you're a bad guy. i remember one post where you said no one should ever do anadrol and winny together and yet it's very commonplace. NOW, i'll admit it's not "wrong advice" but I found it to be an ignorant comment (not because of who you are but because you've only been in the game a couple of years). i never jumed up here and claimed to know everything. hell, i've got how many posts? i've been on elite since april of 97 too guys. back when you didn't need to log in and there were no MODS. people like prizz and jim beam were gods and hulkster was still in good graces. one guy said that even though i've done a bunch of cycle that i still don't know shit. hmm well, i know what works for me. i have nothing personal against any one here. m18- i came at you the wrong way. my bad. i honestly think the younger guys could benifit more from just listening and it's hard to do that if you're constantly do other things...

but from what i've read in this one.. everyone has very valid points.. and everyone might want to take a minute.. look a little deeper at what the other side has said... and use it as constructive criticism..

didn't see the other posts..but will say this about mustang..he know's his shit and if he doesn't he'll ask those who do...he's helped me with my diet..I've helped him with his training ect ect ect...don't knock a bro who's here to help...otherwise they end up elsewhere and then the "where's mustang?" post's start popping up again as they have for many other people who've moved on
 
First off I am much older than Mustang and say that I listen with a keen ear to what he has to say since he is well read and informed.

On the flip side as with Decem I also need to say that Older Big J has a valid point. Experence does count a great deal when working out what actually works for you personaly and to what level you are willing to take it to in order to get results.

Mustang and I have disagreed on a couple things but in general I think he gives out very good advice. Also I like the fact that he tries to encourage newer people to read, learn, and ask better questions, instead of jumping at them and flaming away.

Not sticking up for anybody here, but what does age have to do with it?? A mod is here to keep the board clean, not to give medical advice. Just like everyone else, they give their opinions. But the real job is to keep it clean and free of flames, scammers, source posts, etc.. I think a monkey could probably do that......
 
Alright guys, everyone calm down....JEEZ.

I know OderBig Jay personally, as he's a great guy. He's been in the game a long time, and is a good bro to know. He and I speak at least once per week, and he has mentioned some of his concerns to me regarding this board. His point, albeit lost, was not that M18 is a bad guy, or unknowledgeable. what he was saying is that being a MOD gives his advice more weight than it would normally have. I thin OBJ may sometimes question the maturity of some people here, not that they are immature per say, but that they do not have the experience with gear or life to temper the advice they give people, with wisdom. (and by the way I do not by any means imply that I am speaking about M18, I am not. He's a good guy!)

Can you do a gram of test/wk, 800mg of eq/wk, and start off with 8 d-bol per day?? Sure, but is that a good idea for a 14 year old, a 15 year old, what about an 18 or 19 year old?? I sometimes question the dosages suggested to some of the youngsters here, especially knowing they have little knowledge of AS, and sometimes seem to have even less common sense.(again I'm not talking about all the younsters, Nimrod, Andy13, ad many more teach me shit all the time)!!

I'm an old man(just turned 32) compared to alot of you guys, and the casual attitude here sometimes scares me. I've seen more shit than I hope ANY OF YOU ever do!! I have seen guys in the 80's contract AIDS, by sharing needles(doin AS), I have seen guys 18-25 on dialysis, and seen high school friends never reach their potential due to sports career ending injuries that were at least partly AS related. I have seen the deaths of more than a few guys, that were AS related. As well as heroes and"gurus" of our sport fall ill( Arnold's pig valve) or die(Duchaine).

So please understand if at some time myself or others of the "geriatrics crowd" voices a concern.

As for OBJ he has nothing against M18, he just sometimes worries that M18( among others) can be a bit over zealous. I do not have an opinion on that subject myself!!
 
Jesus... 20? Fuck Mustang... when I was 20 I still had horrible form, though steroids were the devil, and EAS products were the key to success.... it took me 4-5 more years to realize what a piece of shit I was.... I wish I could have gotten started in the game that early.

Thanks for the support guys. I understand where you guys are coming from when you say I may be to young and in experienced with gear but research does count for a lot and I am gaining more and more first hand experience every day.

Your age does not necessarily show because the knowledge and helpfulness but go back and re-read that thread from yesterday. I have not spoken with you much and have absolutely nothing against you (I'm a youngun myself) but that thread was rediculous. All of the namecalling shit back and forth was rediculous. It's one thing to defend yourself but be a little more tactful next time.

BTW: I noticed that Slopain locked that thread and then a little while later you had another response on it. If you unlocked it to get the last word in, that is uncalled for a misuse of your authority as a mod. Again, this is not a flame and I hope I worded it as to not insult you.

Slopain locked it and I quoted a post before he locked it, not knowing it was locked and when I came back and posted my reponce I saw it was locked which I do think was unfair on my part as he never got a chance to reply to my last reponce. we were not name calling at each other either, I got a little heated but from what I remember there was no name calling by either one of us toward each other

I personally know Older Big J as well. He's very nice guy and is also very knowledgable about the sport.

I trust him, and will continue to do so.

I also found out a while back that M_18 is quite a young lad and I was a little surprise. Not saying that the younger crowd doesn't know their shit, but there are a few sayings about age, experience, and knowledge.
 
Well, now that I read both threads, I can say that this is the internet and it does not matter were you get the info from as long as it is correct.

I have been wondering these boards since last year(although I signed in FEB) and I recall Mustang posting then. He was learning and he is still doing it. Since he became mod, Although at times I do not agree with the info he gives, it does not mean it is wrong. It is just the fact that we ALL take different approaches at certain times due to experience which as a result cause us not to agree with each other at times. That being said, I have yet to read something that is "batantly" wrong by M18 as you said old Big J.

One thing I can say about M18, he may not be the most experienced moderator, but at least he posts and is there for the ones who need help. Most of the moderators dont even post anymore at all. And Mustang at least keeps this board going. I have always liked that in a moderator. Being around counts alot believe me, what use is there for a steroid guru to be called moderator if he does not even post?

M18, I havent talked to you that much but I hope you keep posting.
