What are some of your faves? Im watching Ton and Jerry right now. This is a classic. They dont make cartoons like this anymore..now its all crazy sheeit like pokemon, yughiyo, dexters lab, wtf? I like the classic cartoonies they had almost NO voices. just sound effects LOL

Speed Racer, Clutch Cargo, Tom & Jerry.

Tom & Jerry

Remember the Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner show would come on every Saturday morning. It was on like all morning.

Don't be knocking dexter. I like the whole Looney Tunes gang. Voltron was cool. the one with the lions, not the gay little ships. That one sucked. So did GoBots. Remember that old one with the stupid vulture on Looney Tunes? He's be in some with bugs. "I'm huntin for a baby bumblebee, wont my momma be so proud of me" or something?

tom and jerry
the transformers
m.a.s.k.
gi joe
thundercats
he-man
dungeons & dragons
looney tunes

today's cartoons pale in comparison.

YES, and like they would show a map and show where they all were...it was greatness.

Shit, I forgot to mention Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That was badass.

Remember the Super Mario Bros. cartoon too? That elusive King Koopa always got away with his bottle of potion. He's so wacky.

The original Spider-man (where he swings through the same scene 50 times)
Rocket Robin Hood
Superfriends (the one with Adam West, old chum!)

There's good new ones too - Samurai Jack will be a classic for years.

anyone remeber felix the cat? the wonderful, wonderful cat? didn't have some bag of tricks he used to pull out every time he got into a scrape?

What show was Iceman on... remember that guy, he made an ice ramp and slid along on it.. he was the coolest! :)

he was on a show with spider man. I think there was someone else with them too.

YES! Nature Boy, you're right Spiderman was there.. and I think.. Wonderwoman? Some sort of woman? Anyway, she was gay, but IceMan, and Spiderman, they were cool. :)

I miss your red bow tie and raging mullet...

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends...Spider-Man, Iceman, and Firestar, followed by 30 mins. of the Hulk.

Anyone remember Tranzor-Z?

this was not a cartoon but does anyone remember the shazam/isis hour from the 70s? shazam and isis were superheroes with blow-dried hair and tight outfits. isis was a super hot chick who would say her name into her ring and it would echo "isis, isis, isis" and her superpowers would be activated. the special effects were super cheesy.

Project: Wow, how do you remember that?! :) Firestar..that was her name..

Well, y'see...it's because I'm a dork with an incredible recall for useless information. :)

I was WAY into superhero/action cartoons and toys as a kid.

Yes, I loved Tranzor-Z. Otherwise known as Mazinger Z to the rest of the world. I even have the shogun warrior toy of it, it's a 3 ft tall heavy plastic robot with spring loaded firing missiles, back when toys like that could be sold without fear of someone "hurting" themselves.

Richie Rich was cool, he got like a 6 figure weekly allowance.

Whats that little number with Scrooge Mcduck and his grandsons? Duck Tales? They have the bad pilot always crashing the helicopter.

Streetfight, Wizards, Fritz the Cat.

I remember Tranzor Z, maam/sir.

Hey, pal...when it comes to old-school cartoons...the Gummi Bears were QUALITY

"Gummi bears....bouncing here and there and everywhere....

high adeventure that's beyond compare...

they are the Gummi Bears!"

You need to drink some Gummi Berry juice and bounce the hell outta this thread, killjoy.

Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Ju-Ju bugs or NightBugs or something, My Little Pony and and and...........She-Ra, just way too many to mention.

The Smoogies, The smurfs,He-man,gi joe, cops(yes they had one) and of course the ninja turtles and thundercats

"Rocky & Bullwinkle" was the best cartoon ever. Oh, and "Dudley Do-right" was part of "Rocky & Bullwinkle," as was "Fractured Fairy Tales" and "Sherman & Mr. Peabody."

I've got gigs worth of Looney Tune cartoons stored on the computer. The kids love Bugs Bunny, as do I.

Top Cat, Atom Ant, Secret Squirrel, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, that's right my son. Nice the way the cartoons mirrored pop culture (vaudeville)

What about the one where the teenagers drive around in a funky vehicle with some animal that speaks speech impeded english. One of the characters is a lowley underacheiving and cowardly hippie hanger oner. Sometimes the Harlem Globetrotters show up to help them solve a mystery. I think Hannah-Barbera produced it.

I think you're talking about Turbo Teen.
