but seriously, the only thing i think you should do (this is all very easy over the net...) is do whatever you need to in order to ascertain (to your own satisfaction) the true quality of her character. if she ditched out on you, it seems fairly clear, but who knows. if this is how she behaves on the regular, she can't be that cool. drinking beers, liking sports, being intelligent and fun to hang out with, etc...these are nice, but aren't worth much if she doesn't treat you with respect. if you want her for more than a physical thing, i suppose you want her to be more than a flakey whore (i mean that in the most derogatory sense imaginable).
if she does indeed suck, the fact that she's hot and your neighbour may not amount to much. you can find someone who behaves a little better. then again, i guess we have to play some level of game with everyone (some are more complicated than others), so if you're down for the nuances that GD/KB/CW are throwing at you...
