Ok here is the question -
How about Bell Peppers - I have a reciept using 3 kinds (red orange yellow )
with olive oil and a red peppers etc (if any one is interested I will post the whole thing

My concern is - What do the red peppers contain - ? fat? etc

the dish is great with meats or stand alone - i have used top sirloin steak as filler (stuffed peppers )

so what can you tell me about bell peppers

Thank you

Per fitday, 1 large red bell pepper has minimal fat -- .312g of fat for 1 large (2.25 peppers per pound) bell pepper. Peppers are very good for you & you can also buy them frozen. Trader Joe's sells a red/yellow/orange mix.

The fat in your recipe will come from the steak & the olive oil you're using.

I'm growing some bell peppers in my backyard this season. And stuffed peppers are awesome!! Good stuff & they are easy to freeze to keep on hand for future uses....

Chef... great work! And all the other contributions to this thread.... my saviour! I was about to use Heinz ketchup I got so desparate for flavour the other night! ;)

Im just starting out with this diet thing. But after one looses the weight that they want can they go back to eating regular food in moderation? Or do you have to eat this way the rest of your life to maintain your weight?

I just found some "Hot Salt" by Morton's, and i got the 'medium' with chipotle and red chile pepper in it. Now, i like spicy foods a LOT, but damn, a little bit of this goes a long way. sprinkle on a chicken breast or whiting filet, and toss it on the grill and you have a cajun masterpiece. I'm also experimenting with good jumbalayas, stir fries, and stews, as i like what i call 'one utensil dishes'. you don't need to cut anything, and it all fits into one little tupperware so i can take it to school for my 12 hour days....

It's always harder to go from zero to sixty than to coast... but do you really want to coast?

Who wants to be average? normal? Tear down your limits, your preconceived notions of what is 'doable'. do the hard things, then do more. Get to 8% then add strength, or speed, or density, or agility, or penis size. oops. rewind.

Find the extacy beyond just pedalling to the top of hill: keep hammering over the crest and on the way to enlightenment. I shit you not.

Curry and garlic. Mmmmmm....

Another thing I like is shrimp and whole wheat pasta.

Take a good large handful of medium peeled and cleaned shrimp, thaw 'em out if frozen. Throw them in a pan with a small splash of extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle liberally with red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, and some garlic salt. Throw in a forkload of minced garlic. Toss those babies around till they're nice and cooked.

Next take a good handful of cooked whole-wheat pasta (al-dente of course) and drop it in the pan. Toss it around a bit and voila...a great tasting spicy dish...

Don't know the macros in it, but it's DAMN tasty!

Help me. I want my skinless chicken breasts and chicken tenders/strips to taste like buffalo wings. ;;
