4 egg whites nuked in microwave on a plate until tough.....slide off plate.....4 more whites on a plate....nuke......slide off plate....1 pouch of tuna, spread evenly over one of the "cakes", seasoning, ff motzeralla cheese and then the only egg white cake on top....stick in prewarmed over for 5-10 minutes....top with salsa....and POUND......good post workout when its hard to digest food.......karma, karma! lol
 
Post-workout? Where's your glycogen replinishment?

Sounds like a good fat/protein meal to me using real cheese, although tuna and egg whites together doesn't sound like I could "pound" that down @ all, lol..........

Yeah, I heard what ya said bro.......question still stands. As well, I know that a shake usually preceeds a solid meal after a workout, but MANY will not know this "procedure", and think it's to come right after working out.......you even say "when it's hard to digest food" indicating it's immediately post-activity.

Never mind, you just have a diff. way of doing things, as I don't classify protein only a post workout meal/shake/whatever of any sort.

I'll concur, protein only meals in most cases (minus CKD) post-workout are not the way to go.

Boy, never thought I'd get slammed for some a little recipe....know better now.......hey, it was a PORTION of my 2nd PW meal.....Better???? NEVER did I say eat protein only.....just an easy digestible food..... I got a whole slew of mouth watering recipes that I'll get to myself for fear that SC may read them....lol

I wasn't being condescending in any manner, I was just giving my take on the meal and the purpose, that's all. If it's only PART of the 2nd pwo meal, all the better.
