That's why we always tell people to drink lots of water to clean them out ofthe system. I can't tell you how many clients get sick from not following that advice.
At the time I started logging on this board I had a course of lymphatic massage. The masseur warned me during the first session that I may be sick in the next week, that I should drink plenty of water. I didn't believe her - after all the massage was really a "light touch".
But yes, I was sick. Very strong cold/chest infection type symptoms which lasted nearly 6 weeks overall. I was stunned to be honest. We stopped the lymph massage when I didn't feel like shit the following day. I now continue with remedial massage every 1/2 weeks. I get my insurance company to cover most of the cost.
My diet has been clean (well, ahem, 75% of the time ) since then and I have not been physically ill in 4 months. That is a record for me. I do put this down to my change in lifestyle and I am very sure that the lymph massage started me off the right way.
