Obesity is now considered a disease

some people have a legitimate reason for being obese. but the far majority can do something about it and got that way through poor lifestyle choices.

but what does it matter what you call it? the bottom line is most Americans are overweight. especially the 35+ male demographic. its considered cool to have a belly thanks to characters like Homer Simpson. its cool to drink a 6 pack of beer every night and its cool to sit in front of the tv for 5 hours every night to watch the game and a movie.

Classified as a disease = doctors can now throw a bunch of drugs at the problem "thinking" it will go away.

I think it will cause more obese adults to seek pharmaceutical aid from their doctors instead of making positive changes towards a healthy lifestyle.
Phentermine sales will be through the roof

With all the obesity chatter the past few years, I always await the gyms to get flooded with more than beach goers and resolutionists thinking people will catch the fitness lifestyle bug...it never happens, I think I agree that people are going to take the easy way out and head straight to the doctors instead of actually doing something for themselves. Calling it a disease apart from people having immobility and thyroid/pituitary issues sounds loot hitting pharm companies piggie banks

not all those who wander are lost

Same thing they did with addiction...addiction and obesity are not fucking diseases....!!!

I used to be borderline obese, and my strategy was all off. I would starve myself, and then eat terribly. In truth, there are simple activities you can do to elevate your metabolism, such as working out, or taking a thermogenic supplement. X-Slim has guided me to a modest but solid 20-lb fat loss in 12 months, it's the best thermogenic supplement I've been able to find.

If you suffer the disease of obesity, X-Slim is definitely worth a try. You burn extra fat no matter what you do, whether you work out every day, or can't find the time.

@250lbs and 10% body fat I am considered obese by their standards...they don't take in consideration of muscle mass. Ridiculous if you ask me.

Damnit now I'm angry and the gym is closed :(

This post is exactly what's wrong with the world, people are lazy, refuse to work for anything, and think its ok to be overweight. Guess who pays for these fat fucks once they start having health issues, us perfectly healthy people that are already spending the extra buck on whole foods over processed junk. God damnit this shot makes me so angry!
