Obama=wimp?

the bullshit streak continues.

1) take a week to rest up if need be. You're making it obvious that you can't get 495 for a legitimate squat

2) nothing says you can't impress us with more weight.

3) of course I was right. I knew I was right when I posted it. You're ridiculously predictable.

man for someone who talks about "gym cred" you've come up with a great way for wiping out any said "gym cred". I went to see a movie with the homegirl this afternoon and I actually asked her what would she have done if I asked her to "videotape" my squat earlier in the week that she did watch as it was right after that she came up to me. The look she gave me said enough and I was immediately sorry I asked because now it looks like something I regularly do. It's a tool move and shows why you're single and divorced. But I'll tell you what....if/when I get 585 squat back then it's something I may "consider" taping as that would be "worthy" of taping and I wouldn't look like too much of a tool. You can throw up your 3 plate squat on the net all you want....doesn't mean I have to. I'm still baffled as to why you think I need to tape a lift that I'm not exactly proud of but just happy that I can do given my injuries. There are guys here that weigh less than me and are squatting 6+.....why on earth would I showcase a 495 pound squat? WTF is wrong with you? Seriously...wtf is wrong with you? At the very least I would have expected you understood some of these simplistic rules that govern the iron game. You don't showcase what isn't out of the norm. Like I'm dying to see some 25lb concentration curls.....oblige?

didn't read all of that, but I'm calling B.S.

than I question whether you workout as well. I'm around guys who regularly squat that weight for reps and are either my size of slightly smaller. Ain't none of them taping their shit, even when they go over 600. Trippin if y'all think I'm gonna look like a tool in my homebase just to prove something to some random internet people. Ain't gonna happen. Like I said, if I get back up into the the high 5's....I'll consider it because I'd submit the video to crossfit.com. Not cutting a video just for EF.

In the time it took to type that rambling bullshit (that I didn't even read), you could have easily thrown 5+ plates on a squat rack and done an honest lift.

This is why I continue to call bullshit.

Bullshit x 2

I'm going with the "he squats 135lbs and likes dudes" theory

/agree.

Maybe we'll get another rambling explanation of how he can do it, but just can't seem to prove it.

This has the makings of another great EF scammer being caught.

I gotta admit of all the gyms ive been to Ive seen guys squat 5 plates maybe the number of times i can count on one hand in my entire life. I dont live in podunk either theres big robs here.

I don't know what to say then, you look like you played football bro....never lifted with football guys? I go to two gyms, one is more of a health/fitness gym and the other is a hardcore iron hole. In both of those gyms a 5 plate squat is nothing to video tape. In the beast gym, those guys are putting up near 700 pounds. In the other gym, there's a 18 or 19 year old who puts on about 585 for a couple reps. That was my life's max, and he's repping it 2-3 times while still being a teenager....it's fucking sick. I didn't hit that till I was 25 or 26. Yeah he's a little 5'9 running back with ogre legs but still...no way I'm settin up a 5 plate video in that gym let alone in the rat gym.

But I did discuss it this morning with my new "buddy", :D, cause she's a crossfit coach here which is why she was interested in talking about the vibrams. She's put some video's up of her clients and so asked her about putting up a vid of my squat at crossfit...which is the "ONLY" reason I would consider taping myself, not to prove anything to you douchebags :lmao:

But she made a good point....there's guys at crossfit that are squatting that much or more in their vids at 205-210 and then have video's of themselves going for a nice long run. So I'm not remotely there "yet"......but I promise right now that if/when I do put something up there i will provide the link here. And that's as good as you're gonna get for now so I'm out.

Translation: "I shot my mouth off yet again, got called-out on it and will now frantically lift so I could someday possibly post a semi face-saving video."

HTH.

P.S. Bullshit. This is remarkably entertaining.

You know when you said "take a week off" and then hit it......you basically outed yourself as not having any conception of strength training. So this conversation is meaningless to me. If I had said I did 5 plates for reps than you could argue that in a week or two one could theoretically do it again as it couldn't have been that high a percentage of your max. But I said it was "my max". Do you need me to explain to you what that means? I ramped up to that weight and now I'm going to deload....it'll be a minute then before I ramp up again. I know all this doesn't make sense to you because you don't know a thing about real strength training, you're just a roid user who goes to the gym out of vanity and as soon as the roids get taken out of the equation....you're back to your old self. I'm not going to get back under 5 plates again just to show some old dude from arkansas I can lift a world record breaking 495 pounds. wtf? Your babblings about me being another scammer.....what? What exactly am I scamming? I didn't make a thread about my 495 pound squat....I mentioned it as part of a thread about lifting with the vibrams. There's no boasting.....I WOULDN"T FUCKING BOAST ABOUT A 495 POUND SQUAT YOU FUCKING MORON!!

If it's super weight to you, fine....so be it. But it's not for a guy who used to weight 290 pounds and squat almost a 100 pounds more than that. Fuck dude. How old are you?

Of course Im not trying to insenuate you dont squat 5 plates, when I think of a 260 lb dude who is at least built like a linebacker or something its quite doable on a regular basis. But then I was thinking about how many times Ive actually seen it done in person at all the gyms Ive been to and its just really rare is all.
Of course if its a one rep max then I would imagine thats much more common, I was thinking 5 plates for reps, which i never see. One rep max theres a bunch of dudes in the gym I can think of right now that could do that just based on workout weight and reps.

yet another post that takes longer to type than simply putting up 5+ plates. More proof of pure bullshit.

How entertaining.

I would imagine you could have an ipod or phone vid made easily incognito in a couple weeks or so if you needed a little time. at the very least it would make for another epic thread.

boar?

The title of this thread is horribly misleading.

i've no trouble believing 5 plates, but posting a vid shouldn't be the big deal you're making it out to be.

also, you think that attempting that lift again within 1-2 weeks is inadvisable? would it really fuck with your progress in the big picture?

It's interesting how long this has been running. We're closing-in on a week and there's no proof in sight.

Bullshit x 2

If we wait long enough he would have had the time to actually make the gains to make the lift lol
