Notjake11 Summer Cycle Log - TestE/EQ with MRSupps

With one week left in my PCT run (starring DSpark, which has been fantastic), it's almost time to start my summer cycle. I put this together with help from a lot of people, including most notably Needtogetaas, Dylan and Gator. I started with the core idea of running TestE and EQ and these three helped me flesh it out to make a monster summer cycle:

Age - 37
Height - 6'
Weight - 200lbs
Bodyfat - 12%ish
Cycle Experience - Var Prov (8 weeks + 4 week PCT), SARMS (8 weeks + 4 week PCT)

Come Monday I will take pictures, measurements and check my bodyfat for the most accurate information at the start of the cycle.

A quick note about some of the products I'm running:

I've been chosen by MR Supps and Venom to log some of their products during this cycle. As always, I will do my best to give as accurate and open information about the products I'm logging as possible.

Keto Burn (MRSupps) -

I got a bottle of this when it first came out and ran it during my PCT after my oral cycle. I found that it worked as a VERY effective appetite suppressor. I have lost a ton of weight over the last few years but am still in many ways a fat kid at heart. Combine that natural inclination with the appetite boost of EQ and MK677 and the risk of ballooning up is a real danger. Keto and Katana are my two weapons in that battle. The fat burning and cortisol suppression are obviously also helpful. I was given one bottle, which will cover the first 45 days of the cycle.

NuBlend7 Protein (MRSupps) -

I just received my tub of the NuBlend Cookies and Cream protein and am pretty excited to try it out. I'll obviously give my opinion of how it tastes mixed in water, almond milk, etc., but I also like to get creative with my protein so will try out some recipes with it and see how it holds up. I like that it has a blend of different proteins with varied digestion speeds.

Venom -

I ran a log on behalf of my client "Joe", who used Venom's transdermal Winny and Test and was thrilled with the results. I watched and tracked every step of his progress using the transdermals and was pretty impressed, so I'm thrilled to get to try the products myself. Venom has now updated the products to be more of a lotion rather than an oil. I'll be running the Winny lotion as a kickstart for the first six weeks and then closing the last eight weeks with their Anavar and MastP.

Nice! I am using Venom gear in my cycle too, and I'm focused on taking it to a whole 'nother level! The cycles our EF Bro's are helping put together are works of art. I'll def keep an eye on yours. Please come on over and check me out too.

While I will not be starting the actual cycle until Monday, I am not going to wait until then to start experimenting with the NuBlend Protein. I chose the Cookies and Cream flavor because I thought it would give me the most options for experimenting with different preparations. I've tried two different ways of using it so far:

1. I tried it for the first time last night. The obvious first use was to just mix it up with some unsweetened almond milk and see how it does on its own. I have to say I was pretty impressed. The protein broke up nicely (no lumps or clumps) using nothing but a basic shaker. More importantly, I was very pleased with the taste and texture. No chemical/artificial aftertaste at all and it was almost like having dessert.

2. Tonight I decided to start getting creative to see how it holds up when used in other ways. I started with a carton of egg whites (16 ounces) and mixed in 1/2 cup of oats, 2 tablespoons of splenda and two scoops of the NuBlend protein. I whisked it up thoroughly and then cooked it through. It was awesome!!! The texture came out somewhere between an egg souffle and a porrige. Flavor was fantastic. And the total for the dish worked out to 600 calories with 80 grams of protein. I will definitely do this one again.

So far so good.
 
Today I tjink I wil try the NuBlend with my oatmeal and see how good that turns out ...

Back in the day I always put vanilla protein in my oatmeal, then I started using cinnamon bun from NTBM in it (the bomb)...never tried your flavor though...good luck! lol

The oatmeal turned out amazing. I've done this before with a number of different proteins with different results. Isopure and Gold Standard Whey both came out a bit chalky - good but not the best consistency. The NuBlend was absolutely fantastic - perfect texture, great flavor and just an all around hit. The only thing that has been in the same class was NTBM's Whey.

1 cup oats
1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 TBS flax oil
2 TBS splenda

After cooking add 2 scoops of the NuBlend and mix thoroughly. Absolutely delicious.

It's a transdermal gear. Used to be like an oil but is now a lotion similr to Forma Stanzol meant to make application much more effective and user friendly. I'll be starting it on Monday.

I just now applied my first dose of the Transdermal Winny and Mast (see pic below for those of you who asked about the consistency). It's definitely a lotion now and I would say it's actually slightly thicker than forma. Easy to apply and dried relatively quickly. I went with the inside of my arms and will rotate with other spots as recommended by Gator.

My first injection and dosing of the other supps and compounds will be tomorrow morning. The Mast won't be here until Wed or Thur so will start that as soon as it arrives.

Thanx for the details NJ. Keep us posted as to how you gear up your training with the cycle. I'm 2 weeks in and have been increasing my sets throughout.
 
My training is going to have a few primary components.

The first is my cardio/endurance work which will be based on the Sealfit program. I will be doing those workouts first thing in the mornimg on an empty stomach.

The second is going to be an eight week strength building routine based on the Easy Strength principles. In essense you do the same five or six exercises per day five days a week.

Third will be yoga which I will be doing once or twice a week.

Finally I will have my Saturday long runs and obstacle races.

Woke up early this morning (5:15) and did my first injection of 1ml of EQ 300 and .8ml of TestE 250 (which will equate to 600mg/week of EQ and 400mg/week of TestE). I've done SubQ injections but this was the first time I've ever injected IM and it went smooth as silk. Used a 27g 1" in my left quad. Pretty painless and just a few drops of blood. After the injection I took my morning dose of supps and ancillaries - including both 2 Katana and 1 Keto Burn - and went to the gym and did my first cardio workout of the cycle. I could feel the stim effects of the Keto and Katana kick in about 20-30 minutes after taking it. The workout felt pretty effortless but I was sweating far more than usual.

.5 mile walk at 4.0
1.0 mile jog at 6.0
4 sets of 20 bodyweight squats followed after each set by a .25 mile run at 7.5
1 set of 20 bodyweight squats followed by a .5 mile run at 8.0
.5 mile walk at 4.0
.5 mile walk at 3.5

I'll do my first lifting session this afternoon. I practice intermittent fasting and typically use 2-10pm as my eating window so I try to time my lifting sessions for 1pm so I can eat afterwards. I'll break my fast with a NuBlend protein shake and then a half hour afterwards eat my first meal of the day.

Once the Mast gets here later this week (I just ordered it last night and was told it will be here before the end of the week) I may have to split my injections into EOD to avoid multiple pins on the same day (the Mast is dosed at 100/ml). I'll deal with that when the time comes.

I have been reading your log and will continue to do so. One thing I will point out is to keep your goals in mind. By definition if you are "training" you are preparing for something or have some goal in mind. Adding in more sets because you can handle them isn't always necessary, particularly given that you rmuscles will grow and get stronger far faster than your joints, tendons, ligaments, etc.

That being said, as long as the workouts suit the goal and you are taking care of yourself go and get it!!!

At least an hour so they are fully absorbed before I get in bed.

My afternoon workout yesterday went well. I'm not sure how familiar people here are with the Easy Strength protocol, but in essense you pick 5 or 6 exercises and do 10 reps of each (either 2x5, 3/3/4, 5x2 or if going a little heavier 6x1) five days a week for eight weeks (the first half of my cycle basically). You vary the weight ranging between 40-80% of your max weights and each week progressively add to the weight you are lifting. You are never taxing yourself too much in an individual workout but you are doing the same lifts day after day so there is a cumulative effect. The methodology is designed to focus on increasing strength first and foremost with some benefits to endurance and some size. For more details, the system is outlined in "Easy Strength" by Dan Jones and Pavel.
For my exercises I have chosen (with the set/reps I did yesterday):
Squat 2x5
Deadlift 2x5
Bench Press 6x1
Seated Barbell 2x5
Pullups 3x3
DB Curls 2x5
The only challenge in the workout was not pushing myself to do more. I'm used to pushing myself to the limit and this workout requires that you NOT do that.
I used the NuBlend protein as my post-workout and have to say that when it comes to mixing with just water it may be the tastiest protein I've tried yet. Whey to Build Muscle may be a bit tastier when mixed with Almond Milk but with just water NuBlend is tops, making it perfect for throwing in my shaker and taking to the gym for my postworkout. I used three scoops to get 300 calories and 36g protein directly after my workout with 2 N2Slin followed by a meal about 30 minutes later.
As for the cycle itself, I could definitely feel the Katana and Keto Burn all day yesterday. Felt amped up and ready to do just about anything all day long. Definitely sweat more than I usually do during both workouts. Only the very tiniest amount of PIP from yesterday's injection - just enough to remind me I did in fact stick a needle in my leg yesterday.
Dosed Venom for the second time last night and have to say the new lotion is nice. Absorbs very easily. Did inner arm first night and inner thigh last night (Winny on one side and Mast on the other). I'll do ankles tonight and then rotate back to arms.

Just got out of the shower after completing my morning cardio/endurance workout. I'm loving the combination of the Keto and Katana. I have been taking my first dose of both as soon as I wake up in the morning. By the time I get dressed, drive to the gym and warm up I can feel that extra boost from the Keto/Katana combo kicking in. Even more telling is that I have to force myself to stop when I finish the planned workout for the day instead of being dead tired. As mentioned yesterday I have also been sweating more than usual.

As for the Venom products, I've dosed them three times now (Sun/Mon/Tue) on three different locations (inner arms, inner thighs and ankles). Application is easy and can say they are definitely working. I'm already visibly more vascular after three days with veins showing up on my upper arms and shoulders as well as lower stomach and hips.

Diet has been pretty tight so far. I've stayed under 2000 calories the last two days but haven't really been that hungry - as was the case last time I used it the Keto is keeping the appetite under control. I may up to 2500 calories today and alternate back and forth between lower calorie days and slightly higher days. Curious to hear some thoughts on this issue.
 
I can't wait to run EQ in the winter...

I am pretty excited to run the cycle. Only real concern I have with it will be the appetite but with keto and katana to help as it enters my system I hope to keep that at bay.

Thought I might try and measure it with a 3cc syringe though and see what that looked like as opposed to the size of a quarter. What do you think?

I am dosing based on instructions so I can log it based on the way it is supposed to be used according to those directions. That being said I dont see any reason not to measure it and standardize dosing.

I've only used liquids with an oral syringe, but I assume the lotion is easily 'taken up' by it?

The new lotion isn't dosed the same way the original was and I doubt you could pull it up through a syringe. The quarter sized amount is actually Gator's instructions for how to get a 50mg dose.

The new lotion isn't dosed the same way the original was and I doubt you could pull it up through a syringe. The quarter sized amount is actually Gator's instructions for how to get a 50mg dose.

I asked Gator about this as I am adding the Test Transderm to my cycle. He said 1 ml=50mg, so in a syringe with no pin that will be 1 cc. I haven't checked the texture yet. Come on over to my thread for an update tomorrow.

I'm five days into the cycle and so far everything is going perfectly. I've done two injections (Monday and Thursday) and had only the very slightest PIP the day after each. I've been doing my injections just before my morning cardio so that the movement can help disperse the oil/AAS. I've also done five applications of the Venom transdermals, rotating between inner arms, inner thighs and feet.

My training has been exactly according to plan. Today will be my fifth day of both the cardio/endurance and easy stength programs and tomorrow will be a day off from both to rest and recover. I'm finding it difficult not to push harder than planned/scheduled in the routine - not sure how much of that is just my own aggression and/or placebo as opposed to the compounds in my system. I can say that the Keto and Katana are still very definitely having an effect - I can feel that extra oomph kick in shortly after each dose (taking two Katana and one Keto upon waking and again around noon - basically about 30-45 min before my two workouts for the day). It's better than any pre-workout I've ever taken.

Diet has been exactly on point. For the past couple of months I've been able to stay strict for the beginning of the week but end up with massive cravings and hunger on Thursday and have caved in week after week. Yesterday I was able to resist and stay on plan. Monday and Tuesday I was at 2000 calories each day and Wednesday and Thursday at 2500 and am averaging about 275g of protein a day for the week. Today will be back down to 2000 for the day.

I've been experimenting with the NuBlend and am loving it. I have to leave for work but will post more about the recipes I've used in a post later today or tomorrow. Quick summary - the stuff is damned tasty and goes with everything.

I got a PM asking about what my workouts look like so I figured I'd post today's sessions. On days I'm working out I usually do two workouts. The first is a cardio/endurance workout designed to work on my conditioning for the races. I just got back from completing today's version of that workout:

Walk .5 Mile at 4.0
10 Pushups
Jog .5 Mile at 6.0
10 Pushups
Jog .5 Mile at 7.0
Run .3 Mile at 8.0
15 Pushups
Run .3 Mile at 8.5
15 Pushups
Run .3 Mile at 9.0
15 Pushups
Run .3 Mile at 9.5
15 Pushups
Run .3 Mile at 10.0

Later today I will lift. As mentioned before, my current program is based on Easy Strength and involves doing the same lifts/workouts five days a week. Today's workout should look something like this:

Squat 95/5 130/5 185/5x2
Deadlift 135/5 185/5x2
Bench 250/1x6
Seated Barbell 115/5x2
DB Curls 30/5x2
Planks 60sx2

Each lift is done for five days. Two or three of those days it's done at 50% or less of max for two sets of five and the others can be 3x3, 5x2 or 6x1 with weights being correspondingly higher. I'll be lifting five days in a row starting today so I can take Friday off to prep for the race on Saturday. I'll also use my lowest weights for two sets of five for all exercises on Thursday for the same reason.

Hey psizzle, yea I pulled it up in a 3ml syringe to check the size amount of 1ml. It's way too thick to do that every time! You would wind up losing a lot of transdermal over the life of the cycle. You can't get all of it back out of the syringe. The lotion is just way thicker than what the original liquid was. 😎

The cycle continues to go well. I'm feeling absolutely fantastic and loving the progress I've made after just ten days.

My typical day has involved waking up at 5:30am and taking my morning dose of keto, katana and other normal supps (fish oil, etc.). On Mondays and Thursdays this is also when I do my injections. I then head out either outside or to the gym for my morning cardio/endurance routine. That workout varies quite a bit depending on the day - can be sprints, intervals, sealfit, long steady run or an active recovery bike ride. It usually takes about an hour and then I head home for my morning cup of coffee and start getting ready for work .

I start work at 8 and then usually break for my weight workout at about 1:00 or so. I take my afternoon dose of Keto and Katana about a half hour before I plan on starting my workout. With the Easy Strength routine it usually takes no more than 30 minutes or so. I then have my post-workout NuBlend shake (mixed with just water). Then I proceed to consume the rest of my calories between about 2:00 and 9:00 (for those of you who don't know I have been practicing intermittent fasting since roughly the start of the year).

At night, about an hour before bed, I dose and apply my Venom transdermals.

So far the results are better than expected. My energy levels during my workouts are sky high. I'm not usually a morning person and my morning runs have typically been a struggle to get up and motivated. Between the Keto and the Katana I'm and revved up and raring to go by the time I get to the gym. I plan my workouts for the week in advance and it's a struggle to hold myself to the plan at times as I want to push harder, faster and up the intensity. The same has been true of my afternoon lifting sessions. I'm really looking forward to my max out session at the end of this lifting cycle (about 6.5 weeks from now). I'm guessing that I'll be smashing through my last plateau.

The NuBlend has also been fantastic. I've used it in a variety of ways and will make a separate post about that soon. Stuff is just damned tasty and makes it easy to use in a number of different recipes (some of which I've shared with other loggers).

Great log NJ!! Glad to hear you are having good results with the trans winny and mast!! I'm kicking off the first 6wks of my cycle with the trans winny as well, only on day 3 though. I just got a chance to do my bodyfat testing in the bodpod for the first tine since March 21 when I ended mt SARMs triple stack run. At that point my numbers were:

Weight 201.1
Bodyfat 13.8%
Lean Tissue 173.4 lbs
Fat 27.8 lbs

As of today, about six weeks later, the numbers are

Weight 204.7 lbs
Bodyfat 11.3% (-2.5%)
Lean Tissue 181.7 (+8.3 lbs)
Fat 23 (-4.8 lbs)

The first four weeks of the time between were my PCT in which I ran DSpark and I am now almost two weeks into this cycle.

Lets just say I am pleased with the progress.

I'm about as happy with this cycle as could be and the primary components of the cycle haven't even started to kick in yet. My intensity in my workouts has continued to crush and even with as many as 10-12 workouts a week I still feel fresh and raring to go on a day to day basis. I had my most recent race this last weekend and did far better than I expected, posting my best time/finishing position yet. I put up 305 for a single, adding 5 pounds to my best this year without even really planning or prepping to do a max and putting me only 10 pounds away from my personal best ever (which was over 10 years ago). Basically I'm firing on all cyclinders. I did my fifth injection yesterday so I'm about halfway through week three. If I'm feeling this good before the TestE, EQ and MastE have even really begun to kick in I can't wait to see what happens when the cycle is in full swing.

I can't say enough how happy I am that I used the Katana and Keto Burn as well as the Venom transdermals to kickstart the cycle. They had me feeling "on" from day one and have produced visible and numerical results while waiting for the other AAS to kick in. The combination of the numbers from my Bodpod (see last post), my race results and my lifts show that I am hitting all three of my goals at the moment and without the help of the MrSupp and Venom products that just wouldn't be possible. Who adds pounds of muscle and while in a calorie deficit and doing six intense cardio/endurance workouts a week while simultaneously improving speed/endurance and upping strength?

This is going to be a fun ride.

p.s. - At some point soon I will post an update of my experiments with the NuBlend protein. I've tried it in a number of different ways (some of which I have posted recipes for in the other NuBlend logs to share wtih the others running it) and it has been absolutely delicious in every one. Hell why wait - here are the ways I have used it:

1. With Water: By far the tastiest protein blend when used with just water. It's not my ideal use of it, but it definitely works better than any other when you have no access to a blender/kitchen/almond milk (i.e. - it's in your gym bag and you take it post workout).

2. With Almond Milk: Tastes like dessert. The almond milk gives it a richer texture and great mouth feel.

3. With Oatmeal: Cook one cup of oats in the microwave with almond milk and some splenda for sweetness (to taste). After cooking add two scoops of the NuBlend.

4. With Egg Whites: This is my personal favorite way of eating it at the moment. In a bowl mix up a 16 ounce carton of egg whites, 1/2 cup raw oats, 3 tablespoons splenda and two scoops of the protein. Then cook it up in a nonstick skillet like it were scrambled eggs until mostly dry. It tates like a souffle. I've been having this almost every single day lately and can't get enough of it. Makes a huge plate of food that has 600 calories and 80 grams of protein plus the complex carbs from the oats. So damned tasty.

Just had a KILLER morning workout with my sprints. My speed and endurance are both improving nearly every workout. I've been steadily increasing the distances on my sprints from .25 to .4 miles (adding .05 each sprint session). Once I get to half mile sprints I'll switch to upping speed and stay at that distance for a while.

Walk .5 Mile at 4.0
Warmup: 25 Squats and 25 Situps (5/10/10)
Jog .5 Mile at 6.0
20 Squats and 20 Situps

The Keto and Katana are both a huge boost to my workouts. I'm also becoming more and more convinced that one of the best uses for the Venom transdermals is as a kickstart for cycles using longer esters. I'm only three weeks into my cycle of TestE/EQ/MastE and all three are supposed to take 5-6 weeks to really start to shine, but there are definite visible effects from those compounds. My body is visibly hardening up and I've definitely added mass (see numbers from previous posts). I think I'll be using these to kickstart pretty much any cycle I run from now on.
 
I'm on my fourth week of the Transdermal test/mast/var and my friends say I look Menacing so it's a great kick start.

Glad to see you are killing it brother and that more importantly your performance is improving! Keep grinding and i'd be very interested to see your progress as it pertains to bodyfat % etc.

I'm midway through week four and am feeling better and better pretty much every single day. My morning endurance/cardio workouts have continued to get progressively more intense and my run times are showing continued improvement both in my sprints and my longer runs. As for my weight workouts, even though I'm doing the Easy Strength routine that requires I use moderate weights I've had to move up on all lifts because the weights I was using started feeling like warmup weight. Adding 10-20% still has the weights feeling lighter than the original ones felt when I started.

And this is just week four!!!!

I have another week or so of the Venom transdermals which is pretty much perfect as my injectibles will be hitting peak levels at that point. They were an absolutely perfect kickstart to the cycle. Many want to use transdermals in place of injectibles and I can understand that (wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of injecting myself). But I think others have overlooked their use as a kickstart for cycles with longer esters. Because they hit the bloodstream very quickly they complement longer esters perfectly.

And I have to repeat again that the NuBlend is some damned tasty stuff. I've been making that egg souffle dish with it almost every single day (fun getting looks from the grocery store clerk when they see 10 cartons of egg whites on the conveyer belt).

My next race is this Saturday. It's the first mid-distance race of the season (8-10 miles) and after this there is a five week break before the next one. To make sure I'm in peak shape and ready to perform my best I've cut a lot of bloat foods out of my diet and am being even more strict than usual. No dairy, no simple carbs, no soda (I have to confess I'm a coke zero junkie), low sodium, etc. I'll be eating almost exclusively egg whites, chicken, steamed veggies, oats and almond milk. On Thursday night and all day Friday I'll add in a medium to large sized sweet potato to each meal and up the size of my oatmeal portions to slowly carb up. Then there will be some simple carbs on Saturday morning before the race.

Saturday after the race and all day Sunday I will be taking off the diet and having a cheat weekend. After three months of racing pretty much every other weekend and with this being my first time during that stretch where I have more than a single day off work it's a bit of a vacation do drive down to Florida for three days so I'm going to enjoy it. Then I start back to training on Monday.

Here is the updated progress shown in a before and after pic. The first of these two shots was taken on April 26, 2013 (noted by the name of the file). The second was taken this morning (again see file name). Both were taken at the same place in roughly same clothes, same time, same lighting and pretty much same every other condition. I'm visibly more muscular in the second - the veins on my left arm (right side of the pic) are FAR more pronounced in the second one and everything is just bigger and fuller. I've also visibly leaned out - the "bulge" above the elastic waist band has clearly shrunk over the four weeks I've been on the cycle.

Given that the TestE, EQ and MastE are just now starting to hit their stride (really still another week or two until peak levels) the credit has to go to the Venom transdermals and the Keto Burn/Katana combination. If this is the progress I got just from the kickstart, wait to see what happens now that the cycle is about to hit full stride. :)

Back from the long weekend and survived the first of the longer races. It was very definitely a jump up both in the difficulty of the course and the level of competition. The race was nearly twice the distance of most that I've run so far and the obstacles and terrain made it even harder. There were long stretches on sand and that's definitely harder than running on a normal trail and there were also a couple of pretty long swims that kicked my ass (need to add swimming into my training - would estimate I lost 20+ spots in the standings because of the swims alone). However, I can definitely see the progress I have made.

After taking the rest of the weekend off, both from training and from my diet, I'm back at it today. I feel energized and refreshed - ready to tear it up all over again. Both the MRSupps Keto and Katana will be finished in the next couple of days as will the transdermals I've been using. The combination has made a fantastic kickstart to the cycle and I wouldn't change anything about how I started the whole thing. The other compounds are just starting to hit their peak levels so the timing is perfect.

I've got give weeks until my next race and then another 7 weeks after that until the fall series of races kicks off. That gives me twelve weeks to train myself to peak condition and be ready to crush the rest of my events this year. Between the compounds I've been taking starting to hit peak levels and some surprises I'll be announcing in a couple of days, I can say that the level of my training is about to hit a whole new level.

Thanks. Vemon products are just badass. I'm going to be getting a few more goodies this week that will help me amp things up a bit - really looking forward to the next month as I have a solid block of time to dial in the training and diet with no need to worry about prepping for or recovering from a race.

Next set of pics will be about four weeks from now just before the next event.

Yesterday was my last dose of the Keto Burn, I finished up with Katana on Friday and I used up the last of the NuBlend7 last week. That means I've completed the log as it applies to MRSupp products. Because of that, and because I am adding in a few more Venom products for the next phase of my cycle, I'm going to end this and start a new log for this next stretch.

I have to say again (as I have said many times before) that I can't possibly say enough about MRSupp products. There I've bought products from over a dozen different companies and MRSupp is one of only four that I can put in that top category of businesses that have quality products, great service and good people working for them (NTBM, Venom are two of the others and despite their recent issues I still love Unique). I don't rep for either NTBM or MRSupp so my endorsement of them is not bought and paid for - just my personal opinion.
