I just worked legs last night and after my last set of squats....my stomach felt like I was gunna hurl and my ass.....my ass felt like a brotwurst that was about to explode......so I chilled for 5 minutes or so then hit some leg presses....by then my face was white and I couldn't talk cause I would puke....I wussed out and went home....and didn't finish my workout.

This doesn't happen to me all the time...but when it does it fucks me up. How can I avoid this....is there any tips on how to work through it. I know I sound like a pussy, any advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks

sounds like a case of dehydration. I had the same problem, especially when doing legs. I hardly drank any water before my workouts. You have to drink water, lots of it. Before you workout do you drink water? I always drink plenty of water everyday. As soon as i get up in the morning I drink water, and I keep drinking it all day. Just remember before you workout to have plenty of fluids in your system.

that happens to me occasionally too. I haven't found any cure, but I'll try to drink extra before I work legs next time and see if that helps.

someone told me that the nausea is due to the extreme bloodflow imbalance to the big muscles of the legs, and that lying down can help by making it easier to get more blood to the stomach and head. It doesn't work for me, but maybe it's worth a try.

nothin crazy....around 12 I had chicken and rice...around three I had 2 turkey sandwiches and an apple...I usually eat at 6 but I wasn't hungry so I hit the gym around 8pm

I used to have similiar problems on leg day.......I stopped eating on those days and that feeling went away. On leg day now I only eat a small meal, like a bowl of cheerios, before I hit legs. It helps that I get to work out in the early afternoon.....so if you have to work out at night, just keep the meals small, but be sure you're getting alot of carbs in those small meals. When you're done with your leg workout you're going to want to hit the nearest steak house......trust me.
