Does anyone here not do DE lower? How does it effect your training? What do your lifts look like?

high DE day is called ME day. there is absolutely no reason (that i can think of) to go any higher on DE day. the key here is speed. if you want to strain you should be saving that for the other days. also DE is supposed to help your ME. the faster you get at pushing weight, generally the better you become. i do not do this nor would i suggest it for anyone else.

I think what t3c meant to say was, "Does anybody not do a lower body DE workout?"

...and to answer that question, when I was training with Kirk regularly, I would do a ME Deadlift-type workout and a ME Squat-type workout every week. For the 6 weeks or so that I did this, I think it helped me. But it was too stressful to do all the time. I haven't been doing DE box squats, and I think it has hindered my squat poundages lately.

Of course, my bench (which is my weakest lift) is progressing very nicely, so I'll worry about my squat when it starts to become my weak point.

Yeah i was just wondering if anyone doesn't do it...some guy at my friends gym trains sorta westside...but no DE day he does olympic stuff. Or something like that...just wondering if you guys heard of it
