no abs

im 16 work at at our home gym alot have a bf of 8% and i still cant get defined abs to show up any advice on what to do??

If your BF is @ 8% you should atleast be showing some sought of definition obviously you haven't really put in that much effort.

you sure you're at 8%? cuz i know most everyone starts showing at least a 4 pack @ 10%.

Another thing to note though, is abs are genetic.. some people have protruding abs and some don't.. of course you can change that to an extent.

I say have your BF checked again.

I have never had my body fat checked. This may be a stupi*d question, but how do you get your BF checked. Do you have to see your doctor or can you get a machine or something from a supermarket or use one from a gym or something.

I work out at home and my abs are showing rather well, but I have never checked my body fat and would like to monitor it so that I can decrease it so that my abs show alot more and better.
 
your abs should be in some discomfort the day after a workout, For best results.

It takes time, i dont ki ow what my body fat is but i have a beer belly and i can still see definition in my abs. ive been doing them 3 times a week for 2 years now.

Go down to your local fitness products store and pick up skinfold calipers, then follow the directions that a good broly John M. Williams decently has had on his website for quite some time.
