I was in good shape about 2 years ago, but was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and am on medication for that now. All T3 and T4 are fine, but I didn’t get my energy back at all. I had my testosterone checked and it’s around 500 in the morning, and drops to 180 by 4pm. Since I have a normal number in the morning I can’t get help from doctors, but the lethargy, decreased libido make it hard to stay motivated to work out. When I do work out, it’s mostly treadmill at home, and that wipes me out. I have a full blood panel from the doctor trying to find a reason for the decreased libido and lethargy, and can get you all that info if you needed it. I haven’t been on a strict workout plan since high school football, and I’m 30 now. I need a little direction on where to start, what type of program and you would suggest etc.
I’m not in this to get huge, but want more of a lean, cut look (Bruce Lee type).
Basic Vitals: 5’11, 220lbs (all in the stomach and thighs) and I’ve never been able to get pectorals. 2 years ago I was 160 and was supper cut and in good shape. I did quit smoking and take Chantix on and off to help with the cravings for that. If there is any other info please let me know.
