Newbie injection injury

Anyone's $0.02 is appreciated here.

Yesterday I took a CC of EQ-200 in my left deltoid (middle head) and messed it up pretty bad. Syringe was a 23g 1-incher. Apparently I went all the way through the muscle and hit close to the bone, which is probably where the depot is sitting right now. Granted this is speculation, but I now have a HUGE knot in my shoulder, and it hurts to do much of anything with it.

If anyone has encountered this before, I would feel a lot better for my [more or less] mistake. Moreover, is it even possible to have injected close to the bone, or would the nerves keep me from getting that close? Is there any cause for alarm here, or will the injury simply heal itself?

Lots of ??s. Just need some reassurance and/or feedback.

FYI, I'm 5'10", 190, 40 years old, six years of lifting experience. 10% BF, estimate.

I injected some EQ in my Deltoid 2 days and hit just about in the same spot where you hit yours at hit a nerve which caused my Delt to constrict a little. What you need to do is inject on the back side about 2 inches from the top and istead of going in at a 90 degree angle hit it at about 45 Degrees and you should be clear of the nerve. That is how I normally inject and I never experience any problems. I just was in a hurry and became careless on that last inject. Do not worry the soreness will go away in a day or so.

Bro, come on, Is your deltoid only 1 inch thick? It would be almost imposible to go to the bone that way. You are probably sore from the BA content. You may have torn some msucle tissue if you flexed or moved the needle during injecting. I am almost positive you did not hit bone unless you are like the paper man!

if anything you may have hit a blood vessel and caused a hemmorhage, I wouldn't worry bout it.
