Newbie here - can't believe this great forum!!

Hi! :wavey: Welcome!

I am one of the small % of women who build muscle really quickly - used to be a sprinter at school (100m/200m) and other general track and field sports and had huge powerful leg muscles just from sprint training alone - I have a LOT of natural muscle and am wary of too much weight work with good reason!!

I can somewhat relate, altho I know I've got some fat to lose, not lean enough yet. But I actually stopped weight training legs cause it not only was interferring too much with my speed skating, but my genetics and speed skating has given me some fairly large, muscular legs as well, without even touching any weights. So I quit weight training them for now, at least until I can get my upper body to catch up with them. I'm actually on a cutting diet and have been losing fat at about the same rate I am gaining muscle! So I also seem to build muscle fairly easily. I also used to be a cardio freak (and I still get a fair amount of cardio with speed skating) but seem to retain my muscle well anyway as I've always been referred to as thick but not fat. Cool. :)
