I've always been a big guy. I'm 6'3 and I weight about 270. I did Tae-Bo for a while, but did it wrong, and hurt myself.
Luckily, it did get me on my way to regular exercise and gave me some definition. I have pretty wide shoulders, and a good build under what fat I have. I have massive legs with little fat, but due to an office job, I've got a spare tire on my waist, and a severe case of "Computer Chair Ass".
Lately I've been going to a Ballys with my brother, and his girlfriend when she can make it. Me and my big bro go regularly, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On the off days we try and do cardio.
My main question is, right now I'm working my upper-body hard. I'm a big guy in frame and pre-existing muscle, but I want to be bigger. The one problem I have is stretching. I just know I'm not doing it right.
Can anyone suggest a good stretching regime to do before working on my upper body? I know a stretched muscle grows better and heals faster, but I've little knowledge of stretching, and can't afford to ask a personal trainer.
If anyone can be of help, I would be indebted to you.
