New to boards - Question

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is appropriate for this board but not sure where to post and this is the only board I have really posted on so far .. LOL... What is the deal with the Karma Points? The titles under peoples names? How do you add an avatar? What are the stars/blocks under the names? I appreciate any help guys and gals..

mate, avatar is activated when you have reached 500 posts, or go platinum and you automatically get 500 posts, avatar and two green karmic lights.

However, if you've been a good bro on the boards then karma point are given to you by bros who approves your post. So you have to earn it in this respect.
The stars are there when you have reached a certain number of posts! i.e. you get a star if when you've reached 200, 400 posts....etc

BTW, when you give karma points they are:
grey color (good karma) = but not worth points
green color (good karma) = points
red color (bad negative karma) = takes points away to the people you give it to if you disapprove their posts.

So green color karma points are the ones that count and you can only dish out green color karma when you have reached 100 posts otherwise they're grey.
