NEW RULE Re Underage Members

Status
Not open for further replies.

New member
This is something that has been informally enforced by members and staff for awhile, but its time to make it official.

No one is to give steroid related advice to a member under the age of 21 (which is the approximate average age of epiphyseal fusion).

If a young kid wants to limit his final height, ruin an optimally functioning hpta and reduce his longterm potential for growth, we wont be complicit.

Please limit any discussions with under 21's to nutrition and training and non-steroidal supplements.

Yes we know the limitations, but digger, needto, myself and the other mods will be enforcing this "energetically", and I know alot of you feel strongly about this as well.

thanks for your help.

(in my stiffler voice): fuckin right, doggy!

In all seriousness this is a great rule of thumb. Kids will be kids and will be dumb, but these are dangerous substances with long-term (potential) side effects.

what?? the 150 lb 19yr old that's been working out for 6 months straight and his diet is dialed in.. he can't juice?? he can die for his country, but doesn't have the right to mess up his body as he sees fit??

I agree 110% with this.. i would rather it be 26 yrs old as that gets them through college, and a decent relationship or 2 and makes them more responsable..

But 21 is cool..

Good rule.. Between the ages of lates 20's to early 24 I went from 5'10 165lb to same height 210 lb less than 13% BF.. This was on a heavy starch shitty diet, no supps, drank tons of milk at breakfast and dinners and primarily 3 meals sometimes 4 meals a day.

My training during this time was off the charts, last 9 months or so hitting 2 body parts per week except for legs.. Training 7 days per week.. I was hitting 205lb on flat bench for 10x10 clean full range of motion presses.

So yeah young gentlemen, train harder, train smarter, make sure your form and everything other aspect is locked in.

I agree 100% but if you made it a sticky, you would just get 18 19 year olds saying they were 25--- its a no win situation..... the stupid will bring us all down (unless we kill them and eat them for protein)

^^ newbs don't read the stickies first! lol It's worth a shot. Def a good rule for us to enforce.

More of the noobs will go underground, but they will still ask retarded questions

I don't wanna make a rec. to anybody who can't find the pct sticky or find the 100,000 posts about test only first cycle

As long as there are noobs we will spot the noobs

Quick profile check, and glance at name for birthdate always helps

I was on one message board that made you get redirected to a sticky of the rules before the board let you post anywhere else. Cant that be set up here? It was the same type of board, you had to visit the rules thread before you had permission to post anywhere.

PS: Im 15, I play high school sports and I wanna be a beast for the ladies in my gym class! Im going to run 750mg Test E, 500mg Deca, 30mg Dbol, and Im going to drink Winny! I dont need PCT cuz Im the MAN! WTF is a diet? I eat Mcdonolds bitches!

YES! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE SAYING.
(Life isn't fair. Deal with it.)

Yes, we all realize that you can be issued an M16 by Uncle Sam at 18. The fact remains that after a hard day shooting terrorist bastards, you do not automatically get to wash the dust out of your mouth with a nice cold beer -- if you're under 21.

It is a matter of biology that your bones and your liver do not know or care that you can vote at 18. We've had a belly full of people telling kids "You're stupid to do this, but I know you won't listen, so here's a cycle." No more of that.

If someone tells them what they want to hear, it makes it harder for the rest of us to tell them what they need to hear. We're not here to do what's easy; we're going to do what's right.

i totally agree. besides they (21 and under) don't know how lucky they are being in the most natty test heightened era of their lives.

We're hardcore bro. I was thinking 25 since that seems to be the oldest for epiphyseal fusion.

Great rule.

I'm 24, have never juiced, and have been researching for 2 years. I'm still making gains so i know these 18-21 year olds kids definitely can.

I've just begin to dabble into prohormones and things like Dermacrine.

Great rule! Hell, make it 25. You don't NEED juice before then.

I waited forever .....I was....44...or...45.... or....was it.....47.

I can't remember because that's about when my............uh....... Alz......uh........heimers........ kicked in. :freak:

SERIOUSLY YOU WILL FUCK YOURSELF UP BIG TIME IF YOU JUICE BEFORE 21!

I cannot agree more..Perfect way to go about things, i have always felt a feeling that is not normal when I have seen 18 yr olds making posts and people giving all sorts of advice (some good, some bad).
I honestly think that you and Needto are a wonderful asset to this forum. Hopefully others will abide by this thread and not go doing it!

Oh yea, seems this time of year the young guys are really hitting the boards hard trying to get sources too.. off season training for Highschool football..

It's getting very problematic..

DOH! I thought that already WAS the rule....I never get any advice, anyway!

By the way.....The Thorazine / Lithium I.V. drip at night is really helping.

if the rule CAN be enforced i'm all for it! not to long ago it was stupid noobs giving other noobs advice on cycles and what not. that alone was hilarious!!! what's from stoping a noob of writing some bs problem and ending it with "oh yeah i'm totally over 21.." just to get some info.

because most do not read the rules or any other posts before posting--and, well, i think we all know the tell-tale signs-"my friend gave me..." "i need to do a cycle" or the hostility and know-it-all-ism that shows-up by post 3.

pm a mod or hit report bad post and it will be handled.

Whilst I agree in principal to this rule, it does not take into account the 19 or 20 year old that may have been training for several years, has an optimum meso body structure, weighs 103 kg (227lbs), has BF around 11%, is 6' 1" tall, has good training practices in place, understands that gear is only one part of the equation, has been learning about the use of AAS & its positive & negative aspects for some time, is mentally & emotionally mature, and asks for advice on a cycle. I am currently working with two of these guys & at least I know they are using safe practices, are sensible with what they are doing, & have some backup if need be.

This is about the information on display on a public board - if 19 were the norm then what does that say to a 17yo

After all, most people will land here sooner or later when they first start looking for info

If an 18, 19 something came on this board looking like young mr cutler ready for the national level

Then he would have no problem getting all the info he needs offline with supervision

Sacrificing needs of a handful for the benefit of all

Thank you. This should have been done awhile ago but better late than never. Good job mod's. :)

Also just thought ot this...
I have been seeeing some people asking about doing a cycle with only a few years under their belt. I think after 5 years of training consistently before jumping in. I waiting 9 years!

has it been suggested that if someone posts a gear question and says they are say 17 they should be band, if it was mentioned sorry and i am going back to bed

MichaelScott said:

We've thought about it. If (and that is a BIG IF) they are willing to listen, we're happy to have them here to get advice about training and diet, and even to hear the horror stories about things that can go wrong with Da Joose. Where we draw the line is people saying "Oh, you can get away with it at 19" and "EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE AN IDIOT FOR EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT AT YOUR AGE, here's a cycle for you to try."

Saying you found some young monster and let him juice at 19 does not mean he needed it -- or that he would not be just as big without it. Not to mention healthier down the road.

ELITE FITNESS is not about looking great at 20 and dying at 30. It's about looking awesome at 30 and living to 120.

Very good thing. I'm glad to see this happen. As much as nobody wants to admit the media does play a huge role with alot of the younger members that come on here and assume hop on some steroids and bam, your huge. EF is a great place which promotes fitness, and like digger said looking good ALL your life and prolonging it. I think EF is about fitness and doing your body well, not drug abuse and abusing your body.

No one here NEEDS steroids. they just take them so they can get their physique to the next level.

it's about time, couldn't agree more.

God bless our service men and women but, I totally agree, most kids, (even some adults) can hardly handle the responsibilty of alcohol. It would be irresponsible of us as a bodybuilding botherhood to let some teen mess up his body with "our" advice...

that's the reason why i like this board. you can report bad post!! a few years back when DNP and super clen was the hype there was A LOT of false information about how to take both. i'm not going to mention which board or who (don't even remember his handle) but he did infact die of a dnp overdose. the article in the paper about him was posted on the board too. this rule should be inforced on all boards. noobs and people who have any idea what they're talking about should shut there fucking mouths about it instead of giving out 3rd hand information. There was a member on here that was doing that shit and after he was banned he mysteriously made another handle and is still here. lets just say he wasn't plat and somehow managed to get a post count of well over 2k in a 4 month time period..

You only gotta be 17 with parental permission to serve in the military. My cousin is about to enlist. Hes only 17.

This aint the military, in case you're suggesting an insinuating analogy. As far as you're concerned, this is the joint, needto's the warden and your ass is in here for double homicide. Now you can either get out on parol, or be here your entire life. That all depends on how well you follow the rules. Read the stickies.

Relax bra, just correcting digger.

I would think that if anyone posts and claims to be under the age of 18 they should be banned. I also know that age verification protocol is a huge pain too. From a legality point I would think that once someone admits they are under 18, they actually should be banned. It is easy to lie and claim to not be a minor though. I'm actually 14 years old and I'm a naughty school girl who happens to be looking for some really hawt one on four action with lonely truck drivers.

Oh, wait. I think I'm posting on the wrong forum or board. Where is that lot lizard forum?;)

I will say again, that I do not condone the use of gear at a young age. However, according to the thread "How old are you?" 308 members replied that they are 22 or younger. That was 28% of those that responded. So, given the number of members here that are typically regarded as too young, I would like to know how this policy is going to stand up, let alone be policed.

it's not perfect, but we have to try as best we can.

perhaps at some point we might go to some age verification system in order to have access to the steroid board if its feasible.

For now, we have alot of members and mods with pretty good spidey-senses

Mava and needto are good bros. They try their best. You guys should appreciate it.

You "think its stupid"? Disagreement is better received when you dont close the other sides ears with a statement like "I think this is stupid".

Considering the fact that you're "Patient Zero" for this rule, its a given you dont like it. We may call it the "hehateme000 rule".

This isnt subject to debate, its policy. If you dont like it, find another board whose rules are more to your liking.

take a few days to think about it, and think about why saying that a policy that admin and the mods (and most of the members) feel strongly about is "stupid" isnt a good thing. And how posting about how you or another misguided minor will get around it wasnt the brightest thing to do.
