Looking good! I bet you are a hardgainer -- but always lean right?

I am turning 20 this september - 6'4" and weigh about 210lbs. Not sure about being a hardgainer - what makes you think i am? Although, I must say being 6'4" - it's not as easy to pack on the mass. Playing lacrosse in college also has hindered my gains a bit - we do so much cardio. I've been working out for a little over 2 years. The recent year being more serious.

My hubby is 6 ft/280# now and 7 years ago he was about 195 or so. I think your height makes it harder to see the bulk, kwim? My hubby also doesn't do alot of cardio either so I think it makes a big difference.... Just keep doing what you're doing. :D I assume you're on a sports scholarship so I think it pays off educationally, right? :) You are only 20 and have lots of years ahead....You look great!!

Despite the comments above -- you are 20 and you are doing a sport that is cardio-intensive. I think the thing here is to stay w/ what works for your goals. If you want to gain some more mass, take a look at your diet & see about maybe adding some more protein & carbs if you need the energy for all the cardio you do. Cardio is catabolic after a certain point, so its hard to make gains. Also remember that your natural test levels are starting to kick in big time, so if you were interested in getting "bigger" or at least tighter -- you could adjust your diet & throw in some more training for growth to counter the cardio.

Either way -- you are off to a great a start! Good luck!
