hello everyone, i am new here.Was looking for a place to learn and grow and I'm hoping i ended up in the right place
I am 29,i turned 29 in august.I made a promise to be in the best shape of my life by my 30th birthday
Some backstory
i am 5'7 180lbs, body fat is around 23 i think.
I do strength trainee have always loved working out and i have always worked out since i was a teenager.I never cared how i looked, i just wanted to feel that pump and i loved the confidence it gave me.
When i was in my early 20's i did a few cycles
cycle 1 was just test 500mgs/week
cycle 2 was test 600mgs/week and 600mgs then e a week
that was a stupid mistake and kinda fucked me up
last few years i had issues,pissing all the time at night and straining, i thought i had an enlarged prostate but turns out i have an over active bladder, my meds help but i can't drink anything with caffeine or I'm fucked
my goals are to look good ,i want to actually look like i work out now, get healthier, get leaner and possible do low levels test cycles in the future ,i want to be smart and realistic
i am an endomorph and can be carb sensitive .
A few years ago i started a kept diet and went from 190lbs to 150lbs ,but i looked to skinny, i lost numbers on the scale but didn't look good.
Right now i just started dieting,
my goal was to do a
carb /pro /fat ratio of 20/40/40
aiming to hit 1,700 calories a day
85 carbs/170 pro/ 75 fats
i don't take any sups besides a few multi vitamins, fish oils,etc
i can't take pre workouts
my training split is a 3 days on day off split
day 1:chest/arms
day 2:legs
day 3:back and shoulders
i recently started adding in farmers walks, yoke walks and some slede pushing
i do hiit 3 times a week..my gym doesn't have any good cardio equip..i was doing 40mins cardio 3 x a week
i can't run anymore, i have bad plantar fiscatis from skateboarding as a teen
i work for myself, so having time to get my meals in is not hard at all.as my name suggests ,i am a leatherworker .
I would like to be around 165lbs before the new year
i am open to advice. I take criticism well.ill respect you, you respect me
