I remember reading somewhere , that you were getting ready to compete??? If so, has it come up yet?? How did you do ???? Just curious about it. Your first compettition??? Fill me in ;)
 
Sorry Ive been trying to check in on the boards as much as possible..but I have class all day tuesdays and thursdays and then working a lot too. My show is actually next saturday the 29th...im ready...i will be competing in figure..it will be my third and final show of the year. I won a figure comp back in april and won my class in bodybuilding in june. I feel very good this time..coming in harder and tighter...will be getting bf done in next few days. Im getting better w/ my diet...just a little tough w/ starting school and having a hectic schedule so I am glad I will be done w/ all that next week. Im excited, a little nervous, but very ready. Ive been working my ass off w/ all aspects of my diet and training. Making out my list of things to do and getting all that stuff organized so I am not so stressed. Not as much free time to prepare like i have had in the past. But i like a challenge so...i will keep ya posted this week...im a little weak....been dropping weight fairly well in the past few weeks. My abs and hamstrings are much better this time round!! Been doing a little more cardio and pushing the water like crazy...kind of a pain for class:( Ill give ya more details this next week and of course after my show:)
 
man oh man.... new-- i was trying to post to u like crazy last night... i would type the post... press post thread and NUTHIN would happen...my ass kept gettin booted offline. anyway-- this is exactly what i wanted to ask u...thank u ann... great minds think alike i seeeeee:D . i knew ur comp was the 29th and i wanted to see how the preparation was goin. just curious... whats ur precontest diet and training like? well... good luck girl... i know ur gonna kick some serious ass!! wahooo!!! :)

you crack me up... your posts are one big long sentence w/ various abbreviations, smilies & cheers... never even have to look at the name posting, I already know it's you...I vote you the 'cheerleader of the women's board'!:D

Thanks gals!!! I will post a sample of what I eat precontest...doing a few things different this time and my training..cardio etc. ;)

LOL.. i know right!?!? i started to get into this habbit...of no abbreviations no capital letters...etc... when i started to mess around online....its just easier. the funny thing is that NOW when i go to write a paper for class...its an effort to write properly:confused: . well....now i include all sorts of cool things in my papers and my professors luv it i tell ya.... i say things like... WTF? LOL, LMAO, BRB, OMG....ya know all the good stuff. im nuthin but an educated fool :D
 
Ok some updated info....as far as diet goes...i cut out nat pb about 1 month ago:( lack of control!!! Also cut back on red meat, shakes...no bars...and down to 1 tbsp flax oil a day. The past 2 weeks Ive been eating a lot of tuna, egg whites, and turkey breasts as well as some chicken....mainly tuna and egg whites. I eat either green beans, broccoli, or salad w/ each meal..4-6 oz of meat, or 8 whites.

Im up to 2 gallons of water a day...I will keep that up till thursday and then gradually start cutting back to normal and then sip sat. I will cut out veggies on wednesday as well as salt on thursday. Ive been much more active this time around as well as a lot of cardio. I was doing a lot of hiit training but my hip flexor is just not doing so well and my joints are liking the pounding so im walking a lot or riding the bike...nothing real intense just low-to moderate.

I had my weight and bodyfat done today...w/ calipers 7 sites...I was at 8.9% 1st time and about 8.8% second time. I weigh 154lbs:) I started at about 166, not sure of bf% then. Im hoping to drop a bit more by next week w/ my diet and cardio till wednesday. Im tired...weak and training is not pleasant...had my last leg workout today and I about passed out. Walking will be difficult tommorow!!! Ive been posing every day at least 30 minutes....1/4 turns and bb posing to help me get hard:)

My goal is to push myself beyond where i took my body last time. Ive set high goals and ive been working my ass off planing and preparing. I feel good and confident and I am more than ready to go:) Ill keep ya posted!
