New bench PR

I was benching tonight.. wasnt quite sure what i was going to do.

i was really tight and sore all over from my squat workout, so i figured i'd go heavy for a single or so.. well i wound up doing..

95 x 6, 135 x 6, 155x3, 175 x 2, and then i wound up getting 185 x 3 for 2 sets

my old PR was 175 x 3 for 3 sets. and the most reps i've ever done previously was 1 with 185.. so i was pretty happy with that.
just thought i'd share
 
good to hear you are making progress keep it up, I gotta hgand it to you at that BW you are putting up some nice numbers....

so 2 weeks to make the jump.

SWEET! So two weeks form now you can tell us all about your 195 x 3... ;)

hehehehe......i ordered a inzer single ply blast shirt thought it would already of been here, still waiting but don't you worry, i'll be posting my 2 plate bench as soon as i get it:)

always, i went from not being able to squat the bar to a 3 plate squat in a couple of years, and that was when i was completely natural...... you have to remember D, i'm a short ass, i'm built to bench and squat:) i have a dislocated rib that won't stay in place so i have to be taped up today:( hopefully i can bench on monday.

Good job on the pr, always makes the day better, bad thing is now you have to beat a higher number. lol
 
good thing is 205 isnt a mental barrier to me anymore.. hell i trpled it on decline. im setting my sights on 225 for the near future.. i like this whole gain weight, get stronger thing.. its been working well (even though i only gained 4 lbs)
