Never go off?

don't do it if its not necessary i run 2 cycle a year and my picture in my prfile shows what kind of shap i am in, however different strokes for different folks!

I've been on HRT for years. At age 34 my levels were unacceptable to me. It;s only 100 mgs test every 7-9 days. Keeps me happy. I'll toss in a cycle once a year or so as well.

I honestly wouldn't think twice about going on hrt at 47, but then again I wouldn't think twice about going on full time by 40 either.:D

It's a serious choice, but it really comes down to what you want and how you feel.

I have no problems with running a 16-20 week cycle atm, but I wouldn't seriously consider staying on full time until my late 30's and that also comes down to wanting to be abit above high normal levels in the first place due to wanting to carry enhanced levels of muscle mass.

Hey guys, looking for some thoughts here....
47 years old, 6' 235, approx 18% bf
First cycle was 23 years ago, been doing about 1 to 2 cycles a year for the last 8 years.
Recovery has always been good using typical PCT, but last few times it took longer each time to get back to a slightly lower endogenous test level each time (blood work at 6, 12, and 18 weeks post cycle in each case)
Current level is 411 ng/dl
Given my age, I amconsidering just going to a (permanent) maintenance dosing schedule after this next 6 weeker.

Thoughts?

Your total testosterone isn't terribly low. Need to look into others as well such as estradiol, free test, etc...

My total test wasn't much higher than that at 22 years old, having never used AAS before that. Explore all your options before jumping on HRT. Not saying it's bad, but it is a lifelong commitment.
