The way I see it is this.

EF is a place for like-minded individuals to get and share information. It's also a place to do business. It always has been. When people bitch about the good old days they're kidding themselves. There's always been someone bringing attention to one product or another, be it a book, or a supp or whatever. That's fine. But there's a point where some guys go over the line.

Macro and ulter did just that. They controlled the board. Bashed the competition. Deleted and editied and censored posts to suit their needs.

They had to go.

Other mods were here doing underhanded business, scamming, etc.

They had to go.

They'll always be people who miss the way it was -- even if what it was wasn't any better.

What's happened recently is a bit of a monkey fuck. I was asked to come back, share some thought and bring some attention to my products along the way. Most members are smart. They'll take the info and if it doesn't suit them, they'll discard it. They don't have to get up in arms and start insulting people.

I've always had controversial theories and whenever you think outside the box there's going to be some debate -- which is great -- but there will also be people who get out of line. That's when the fights start. Others pile on. It happens.

Then there's been people who've invited themselves in the mix. Some may have a lot to offer but it starts to come off like a bit of a free for all. And honestly, although I have no problem with people promoting their products, it's gotten to the point where threads are nothing but flat out ads with nothing to offer than to alert members of something they should buy. I think that's bad form and it puts a bad taste in peoples mouths.

Anthony is here because he has a very popular book sold on the site. If anyone has questions he's here to answer. But sometimes we wind up with threads that become shouting matches between two or three people. That's not right. It's selfish. It doesn't serve the board.

I'm here because of my rep in the industry and I love talking about bodybuilding. I also designed some products that I think many people will really like. Everyody wins. But again, some people want to take anybody down they can and someone who forces them to re-think their ways is an appealing target. Everybody loses.

I'd like to make a plea to members and sponsers alike.

Members: realize that this site exists because of the business it generates. If a product looks good, give it a tray. If it sucks, don't buy it anymore. Then you'll know. It won't take long to find out what's good and what sucks. Isnt that better than listening to some malcontent bitch and complain about something he doesn't even know about? If someone is offering advice, don't bust their hump when they make a recommendation that isn't a drug. Be respectful. We're bodybuilders and we're here to do and try everything that's going to help with our goals.

To the sponsers. Lighten up. Don't start threads that offer nothing but bringing attention to a product. Help with questions unrelated to supplement if you can. If not, bow out. Be patient with newbies. Don't hyjack threads offering your products over someone elses. Listen to the members concerns.

This is a great board. It's changing board. It always was. It can be better than ever but let's take a step back now and then and make sure we stay on track so everyone walks away with what they need.

like i said in the beginning, its back and forth all the time, i see both sides, here we go again. back and forth. both sides....shouldnt be attacking people or there thoughts and theories(especially when not here to respond) and we as all should defend those who need it. but every1 should just chill and stick to knowledge and info for any1 who may need it and want it. if some1 doesnt agree then they dont, but no need to bash people for what they think. i guess certain people have their own agendas but i guess thats how it is. if your smart enough just read and post and keep going, AGAIN, no need for the bashing. its fukn evrything up around here. a basic post gets turnd into a free for all, and the original post gets lost...for some1 just tryn to get some info and experience. I think myself and many others have respect ( or at least used to) for this board and are not happy w/ the direction that it has taken.

You and I will always disagree here. Lets remember that you were not the same person as you are today. Alcohol made you who you were back then and to be quite frank you were not very nice a jerk basically I would say. You are different today and the real you is finally coming out. Much like the rest of us with that problem need to accept and own up to who we were and most importantly HOW we were when we were at our worse. We need to accept that first before we can move on and be better. Its one of the twelve steps!!! Its a combo of step 5 and step 8 & 9

Again refer to my last post. If you think this is bad the mod forum has had things digussed about you that are ten times more harsh. YES & NO my friend. BRR could turn off your switch in less than a nano-second if he wanted to. So can digger I believe. as a paying member that will get you a little more leniency but a COTB and/or even a mod can be gone in a heartbeat IF they wanted that. BUT I can say that BRR and Digger and all those with that power do NOT abuse that power. I would have been gone a long time ago if that were the case and I have pushed the envelope at one time or another.


Oh yeah but for the most part you ARE correct. They vote and offer opinions etc. Its pretty much a a fair panel of the real deal that keeps one grudge from banning someone because they are upset. Hats off to that.

plat member takes a vote...non plat takes no vote.and some times they just over ride the vote all together.

Only Admins and Super Mods have the ability to ban. Anyone else can only advise the Admins and Super Mods. There are no auto-bannings due to having negative Karma and Mods can vote to their hearts' content but the final move has to come from an Admin or Super Mod and, even then, it's reversible.

Quite simply if you do not like what he writes then don't read it. All you do is bash people. many disagree with AR and Nelson but no matter what it makes you think which is only good IMHO as will assist if only to check your initial thought process. All you will achieve is getting them to leave. Macro and Ulter have left - get over it - cry - be dpressed - whatever it takes but get over it. I actually liked both of them and had a lot of time for them but do you know what i am over it they have left the board i am still sleeping ok. Not sure why you can't. The way you are going there will be no Ulter No Macro No Nelson and No AR. Whatever you think they add value to this board as they have differing opinions and thought process which can only be good if you agree or not it can only assist in research
