Neighbor wars

So all in my life was calm a month ago, until my next door neighbor decided to sneak in a dog (you have to pay a $300 pet fee at my apt complex to have a dog) into his place, his dog started insanely barking at my dogs and my dogs of course responded, I managed to calm my dogs down and now they barely bark at him EXCEPT when the little ass bag comes up the stairs, he's always thumping and running through them like a mad man, so of course this rattles up the dogs, I didnt make a big deal..... he now paid the deposit so now he freely walks the dog but lately the little a-hole is taking the dog out WITHOUT a leash, therefore when I walk my dogs and he's out his dog will run to my dogs and annoy the shit out of them (bark right in their faces), I still didnt make a big deal....

My downstairs neighbor saw him walking the dog without a leash and said nothing but then one day his dog chased her 2 year old toddler who ran into the street scared of the dog... she still didnt say anything.... but then she caught his girlfriend (who he DOESNT have on the lease either and should) walking the dog unleashed and she didnt pick up the shit, my neighbor confronted her, she denied it, so my neighbor finally went to front desk and ratted him out, turns out in retaliation the little ass bag went to the front desk and said that she had had a BBQ (BBQ was really a disposable bbq grill with coal in her balcony) and that in the mornings she lets her kid in the car and he honks the horn loudly and she NEGLECTS him and keeps him there locked and yells at him until she's ready (which is BS) so of course she is super pissed because front desk told her about it and they might have to call social services because it's their duty.... that was a real douche bag move of him....

Today I went to the front desk to get some stuff repaired in my apt and the lady tells me that "someone" complained about my dogs, no one EVER did this before, Im pretty sure the asshole didnt know which of us complaint and decided to fuck us all over.... I got SO pissed yet apologized and said I'd take care of the situation later during the conversation I asked if a car parked by my apt belongs to maintenance because it's been sitting there forever, she said it didnt and would look into it, I know it's the assole's car and not only is it broken down but it also doesnt have a tag which per the lease is forbidden to have.... my husband just told me there is a notice on his door, I'm pretty sure it's about the car.... and he's in trouble.... yet I dont feel happy, now Im actually worried and angry I stooped to that level :(

He should be in trouble for breaking the rules. His choice to do it, not yours. If you hadn't told then someone else would have eventually.

I don't like it when people have out of control dogs and do nothing about it. I had a neighbor who had this aggressive little yipper and constantly let it out without a leash. I had a big ole bullmastiff and was walking him one day. We get into my front yard and that little cotton ball came runing up and actually went after my dog! I had to hold him back so he would not eat the bitch in two bites while the neighbor stood there and screamed at me that my dog was gonna kill her dog. I gave her two choices, she could come get that little mongrel while I still had control of my dog or I could kick it back to her yard.

She got the bitch.

Yeah in all fairness he is doing something wrong and he started it, specially because his dog is the one rattling up my dogs and his is the one barking uncontrollably, even if another neighbor made the complaint it is his dog not mine, however I know mine arent saints and am currently training them and socializing them more, I'm also trying to have them full time in my house but those bitches are so impossible to potty train, pugs and frenchies arent known for their brains :worried: but I rather have them be inside and then just clean up than get in trouble for any noise...

I had someone's unleashed cocker spaniel attack one of my leashed shepherd puppies years ago....the owner actually had the balls to laugh about it

my shepherd was severely dog aggressive ever after that because it made a huge impression on him when he was imprinting and I was never able to use him for SAR, my original purpose of buying him for.

he eventually went on to antagonize my lab (another SAR washout but because of seizures) constantly and almost kill a neighbors collie who wandered into my yard....i have zero fucking tolerance for shitty pet owners or people that own dogs and don't have a basic understanding of things
having a dog that isn't under control at all times here ( verbal, e-collars, leash control all fine) is enough to get a dog euthanized here

I vote for reporting him to animal control...chasing a toddler into a road is completely unacceptable

p.s.
bark collars, get some..they'll stop in a week and you wont have to use the collars anymore

I had a pug once, i couldnt housebreak her either. They r really cool dogs thou. I really loved my bullmastiff. They don't live long, we only had him six years and we had to put him to sleep cause of bone cancer.

giant breeds are really depressing that way :(

jacks are notoriously hard to housebreak too..cuz they're hard headed...I think pugs may actually just not care
