Need yummy shake

Axe

New member
Axe's wife here. I need a yummy shake that is not sweetened with aspartame. Preferably something with very low carbs/fat and a whole mess of protien. I was using one scoop chocolate MetMax,but I get nasty headaches from the stuff. I like it because it really fills me up. I don't mind sweetening the shake myself. I can use stevia or cactus syrup ( I like this product alot. Does not spike blood sugar levels and has a nice taste with very small amounts.) Thanks for any responses.

Try the MET-RX RTD (ready to drink) shakes. Both the chocolate and vanilla are very good! It has 40 gms of Metamyosin protein, 6 gms of fat, 15 carbs, and very little sugar. They taste awesome!

I've just finished my Optimum 100% whey, chocolate . It was pretty good, but I found that it had a little aftertaste. I just got EAS's Simply Protein, Vanilla Cream 5 pds for $31.99 at some local store (goes for $29.95 at netritions.com) It is very good and is good quality proteing. I highly recommend it. I use 2 scoops (110 cals, 3g carbs, 22g prot, 2g fat) with 6oz cold water and 3 ice cubes and 2 tablespoons of concentrate MinuteMaid Limemaid (those frozen cans) AWESOME SUMMER SHAKE

Spats, you're right I found that when I mixed it with the recommmended amount of liquid (in my case water) it was simply terrible. But I still found a slight after taste when mixed with less water, so I always added natty PP and gourmet oil which was a good mix. The only problem was that I couldn't use my blender down to the gym... too noisy :p Simply protein's Vanilla Cream is really tasty and about the same $ as Optimum's.
