Need some diet advice

Ive been on a low carb diet for a few months now, and Ive lost 30 pounds so far. The problem is the lack of carbs is starting to take its toll on my energy levels and lifting. I havent lost any strength but my energy is so low at this point that Im pretty sure Ill start loosing strength soon. My question is what kind of carbs should I start eating to ease off of this diet without putting on too much weight. Ill keep doing cardio and lifting so I think I can keep the fat gain to a minimum if any at all. I wanna get to a point where I can still cut while eating enough carbs to give me energy for my hard job and my workouts. Thanks for any advice.

Why dont you increase carbs just on workout days? Have a decent meal on them days with wholmeal rice/pasta and some chicken. That should give you a boost whilst lifting and with you cardio on top that would burn off any excess that is left over.

The carbs you should be eating

Potatoes
Yams
Brown Rice
Oats

if your really really concerned about bloating ditch the oats and rice and stick to potatoes and yams.

On your low carb diet are you doing carb-up days on weekends?...You should be doing a 36 hour or so carb up, in which you eat HIGH carb counts and low fat, this helps keep energy levels up thorugh the week. If your doing all low carb all the time, you'll lose all energy FAST. Of course you want it to be all clean carbs...

Or like these guys said, just eat carbs around workouts...Either way, at some point you need some carbs.
