Hi all, Im taking designer protein right now, but i'm running low an am about to purchase some more stuff. I'm trying to gain weight, so any recommendations?

Perhaps a weight gainer would suit your needs more ;)

Look for one with a high protein blend @ (40g +) and close to 2x that in carbs. Dont forget that real food should be the source of most of your caloric intake, so if your not gaining now, look closely at you diet first.

Best weight gainer i've seen is NLarge2. But think about this for a second, if it has 80g of carb/sugar in it why not just enjoy something that tastes much better w/ that amount of carbs? That's one thing i've never understood about people buying weight gainers, why not enjoy eating all that sugar? And then just get 40g of regular whey, and you have your gainer.

Gainers can help but you really need to stuff more food down your throat, that's what it all comes down to.

And if i have to consume X amount of maltodextrin/dextrose/sugar or whatever, I'd much rather get a piece of cake and enjoy eating all those carbs.

1) Real food (tastier, cheaper and as efficient as supplements if you're bulking)

2) a weight gainer (I agree with riskybizz007: NLarge2 is a good one)

nlarge is a very good.. I use optimum nutrition... but nlarge is more of a weight gainer and is pretty cheap too

try some dexrose to go along with your whey protein post workout, it is a fast absorbing carb if u dont know. u can get it cheap at www.supplementdirect.com

also maybe some creatine monohydrate to use with the whey and dextrose.
