Need help with posting pics

I have a bunch of really cute pics or different smileys on my computer + Ihave them on photobucket, but i'm having trouble getting them to come up on here.
I did one on momsgetnfit's log and it worked, but i did a couple on other's and it says thumbnail and shows the smiley but it isn't doing anything.
I have been jacking around with it and cannot figure out how to do it right!
Can someone give me a step by step!

Did you find them on another website?? If so, right mouse click on it, click on Properties, highlight the location & use the Img attachment feature to post them....

Otherwise, you need to host them on a hosting site, which, when saving graphic images that move - I don't think hosting always allows the movement to be saved.....

I did find them on another smiley site, saved them to my computer, and also on a hosting site (photo bucket).
I don't know how i got it to work on one post and not on the other one. Doesn't make sense .

Well the movement of the smilie will probably work better if you post them in your thread off the other smilie site. So right mouse click on the smilie, and a box will come up.....Highlight the properties of the smilie which is the "http://" portion......then you need to "Post reply" to a post here & NOT the quick reply.....in the menu above the reply box - there is a little yellow square that looks like a mtn range - click on that & another box will come up....right click in the box & paste the properties of the smilie into that box & the smilie or picture should be in your post.....

Hope this makes sense...it'd be easier to show you, but I'm not there!

ok i tried that, this is what i pasted in the box http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e70/getnfit06/niceday.gif
and all that came up was a link to click on. I want the pic to come up. I clicked the insert image (mtn.range) above and pasted that in.
I'm getting irritated!!!!

I used the yellow mtn. range box & this is what came up...correct smilie??

Then, this box will come up:

The "http://" will be highlighted in blue - delete that....then right click & paste in the open white space the location tag of the smilie.....
