Definitely lay off it until we figure out whats going on. You should have noticed gains, especially an obscene amount of water retention, within the first week... not 4.5 weeks later.
Most people stop using it at 4 weeks. If you continue use, you run a much higher risk now of liver dmg.
As stated above, something has to be going on here. Whether it be poor diet, bad gear etc... we need to figure it out before you proceed any further.

If your fingers are swollen and/or numb the shits working - how hard do you train, what is your training experience? I'm your age, but I've been training 20 years. If you have only been training for 13 months - and never before that, even at 37 you should be aware of what some intense training will do to your body.
