im not really new to weight lifting but ive found myself at a plateau and i want to take more of a powerlifting lifestyle and workout. basicall my stats are 195 bench 205 squat 250 dl weigh 165 6 feet tall...i no thats pretty shitty...im just lookin for some advice on how to bulk up and increase my stats..thanks!

well the first thing i can tell you is that you should seek out the strongest people in your community and see if you can train with them. this is probably the most important factor to getting strong. its all about atmosphere and desire. if everyone you train with is hell bent in getting stronger than your only setting yourself up for success. it makes a world of difference who you train with. my lifts were average in high school and now that i train with people who are serious about powerlifting my lifts have taken off.

where do you live? maybe someone on the board can help you out with this?

otherwise what kind of workout/training are you currently doing?

lift,

I know extacly what you mean. I used to work-out at the YMCA ( hahahahahha dont jank ) and now for the past year I've been at a real gym and makes such a difference..The atmosphere is awesome!

bball, to get stronger man...all I can say is eat..and use the search section on the site...Remember getting stronger is not all about what you do in the gym, but most important, what you do when your away from the gym
