Those are the recommended vaccinations for children in the United States. 14 diseases covered by 8 vaccines.
Once again, you're an idiot. I would ask you to please not have children, but you've already failed.
I'm an idiot for just quoting what a coworker told me who has an infant and she and her husband are trying to reach a compromise on what shots to give. She's the one who told me that the latest is going to be 36 (in the long run) for every recommended shot. Her mom's a nurse and she's highly sceptical of the immunization theory- but we talk candidly and openly about it- no cheap shots necessary.
Here are my kid's shots documented according to my child's age at the time:
Hepatitis B: newborn, 1yr =2
Diptheria,Pertussis,Tetanus: 2mo, 4mo, 7mo, 19mo, 4yr =5
Haemophilus Influenza B: 4mo, 13mo =2
Pneumococcal Menigitidis (Or Pneumococcal Conjugate): 2mo, 4mo, 7mo= 3
Polio: 2mo, 4mo, 7mo, 19mo = 4
Measles, Mumps, Rubella: 1yr, 4y= 2
Varicella : 2yr, 6yr =2
Hepatitis A: 2yr, 2 1/2 yr = 2
NOT included in Chris's list:
Hepatitis B: newborn, 1mo, 1yr =3
= TOTAL OF 25 (Not quite the 36 my coworker mentioned, but there's more to come for follow ups.)
I'm not so concerned with vaccinations after the brain has developed after 3 years of age- it's the impact of the reaction of the immune system on the body and the brain while the children are still infants that many of us still wanted explored.
I do believe the child has to have the GENE that gets triggered and becomes Autism so in that sense, yes they are born with it. But, there are varying degrees of Autism depending on what the damage was to the brain during development, whether invitro or after birth (the big debate).
In answer to Isn't Autism something they're born with? There are parents who have seen their normally developing child change (seemingly) after vaccinations. It could just be coincidence and nay sayers will say that. But, with so many testimonials to this, there is a (nonscientific) hunch that something is connected somehow, overall, and not pertaining to just certain vaccinations like MMR (the debunked theory).
Chris is counting each disease covered according to the type of vaccinations so he came up with 14. I'm counting total dosages= 25, 19 to 20 of which are within the first 3 years of life (major language and brain development time).
My unscientific hunch is that my child was born with a very sensitive immune system loaded with allergy issues and I'm wondering if the immunizations just took him over the edge and the symptom is Autism (inflammation of the brain theory as most have larger brains than normal people). It may be a stupid theory but when you have only hope to go by, we seek consolation in our wacky theories until we are offered some other explanation. My grandmother says she's never seen anyone like my son when she was growing up. (They may have just shut them away in asylums back then.) That's why I would like to see number comparisons of the more major and obvious forms of Autism country to country. I'm sort of callous to the inclusion of Asbergerians (high functioning Autism) because geeky people have been around since the beginning of time and it is obviously universal. It's the more severe forms like what my son has that I think have increased though the Autism societies include everyone on the spectrum and that's where they get the 1 in 150 numbers.(Hence the question- Are we just diagnosing better and including more people and that's what is driving up the ratio?) Kids like my son are probably more like 1 in 500+- but they don't tell you that, so breath easier. Hey, I'd take a geeky awkward Napoleon Dynamite nerd condition anyday for my son. I wish we could trade out conditions. I would not be as concerned if he simply had the nerd syndrome. Asbergerians can lead successful independent lives. My son will never drive, but may get a job. We will be his guardians for life.
Btw, I think Chris has Autism. He shows the classic signs of high functioning Asberger's Syndrome such as an ability or obsession for memorizing, remembering, and researching minute facts and figures (like stupid crimes in Asia) and very poor social skills. They're often blunt and rude and are more concerned with facts than human relationships. They don't have much of a social life so many turn to the internet to interact with people. (Or, he may be a hot stud in real life- got pics Chris? Know how to please a woman properly?)
Anyway, without them, our infrastructure would probably collapse b/c they are the engineers and scientists of the world which is ironic that science won't point us the direction where we should look for the causes and possible prevention or at least suppression of Autism- besides after the fact behavioral therapy. So, if Chris, you're so smart- please find the cause and cure. Yes Chris, I am stupid compared to you. Many Asbergerians are brilliant peopl, take Bill Gates for example, and now we have Chris.
