Sorry QUad, I appreciate the advice.....I've been off since thursday...that's three days....my LONGEST stint ever...Did a little bit of legs yesterday, felt good not to overeert.......I'm gonna train today unless I feel too shitty to go in...I'm in the office, I recooping, I feel ok....I do however, completely and totally appreciate your assistance....you've been fab!

You only need to be doing 8-10 sets max for a small muscle group like arms! That's 8-10 for bi's and 8-10 for tri's. That's it!

JK, have you considered that right about now could be an ideal time to make a stab at an intermediate 5x5 program. It'd get you down to three days per week and let you focus on rest and growth.

Sorry, dougmug, for any seeming irreverence on my part.

Yes - Tony set one up for me. basically you have 2 Squat/Row or Dead days and 2 Bench/Military days.

I would save the Bicep work for day 3 and Tricep for day 4 as you will need them both earlier in the days workouts.

Bro, it works best when thinking in terms of days of the week for organization purposes.

You don't need to do the reboot on Sun.....routines like that are based on trying to correct what is dead wrong with supercompensation. You know, the theory that says kill a muscle, then rest it all week and it'll grow back bigger and stronger ready to be killed again the next week. The problem is the stimulus is lost in that time......routines where you reboot try to hit the muscle again before you lose the stimulus, and IMO and in the opinion of the entire strength and conditioning world as well as anybody who built an ounce of muscle before mega-doses of drugs could cover up training deficiencies, that just is too flawed. The reason being the body's CNS is fatigued systematically over blocks of time, and it recovers systematically over blocks of time, not body part by bodypart and workout to workout.

The intermediate 5x5 with the ramping, peaking, and re-ramping (default deloads) makes it unecessary to reboot to try to hit the muscles closer together. There is no deload in the beginner phase because the lifter is nowhere near his genetic capabilities and they don't get CNS burnout because even "heavy" lifts are still damn light compared to what they can ultimately handle.
 
Its not the weight workout that determines BF% at all....its all diet.

its not for me, but thanks....Im not going to waste my time and yours starting a new routine, when I know right now, its just not my style...I got nothing against it whatsoever...I actually think it's great for you guys....but to be 100% blunt...I want to be healthy #1, I want to look good nekid #2 and I could care less if I bench 405 or 45...see my point....? I want to stimiulate new growth, get some size on, stay under 10% and go....
 
I mentioned the 5x5 for one reason alone: you're coming off cycle and seem unable to come to terms with reducing volume/frequency.

Maybe you're averse to the program due to some misapprehensions about it or those who use it but it would be highly suitable for the next month or so to help you to continue building muscle and maintaining gains from your cycle.

it's periodized 5x5 modified with a fair bit more volume on the assistance exercises for bodybuilding than traditional 5x5 setups (altho strength progression is the whole point of the routine)

look at the kid who went on it for a month or so. Do you look 'better naked' after months of AAS and volume training than he does?

J, he is 5'10", 240 with abs, natural and actually looks like a bodybuilder. If you really think your current 'slim-line' look is better then you might as well give up this lifting weights thing and go back to triatholons.

its four on one off, one on 2 off........what??? Many go five on 1-2 off....same principle....I figure arm day is also a rest on my CNS after heavy chest and before heavy deads.....makes sense?
 
This is today December 12, 2006 before work (and before a my trip to the bathroom- *cough* 14lbs heavier than the original pics, are they too blurred, not enough, ok, worse? Give it to me bluntly....

Huh? lol...you can hardly see them...the lighting is horrid, and I have no tan right now...keep that in mind.....its the fading that kills me throughout the day, but my cals are though the roof...what is the next step...look at my diet, it's a TON!!!!!!!! and this was after a day of continous eating plus eating at midnight.....PLLUSSSS I'm on 50mg of prop eod so water is holding on.......

I'd always do the big stuff (barbell curls for biceps) (pressing and dips for triceps) first, and training this stuff progressively, not just sticking it in when you're pumped and tired from all the pretty boy stuff that provides a shitty stimulus for growth............but that's not so important here.....

My concern is.....what are you doing tomorrow for back? Think about trying to row/chin etc etc with sore biceps. This doesn't look like a quick active recovery session......if it interferes with you pulling heavy tomorrow, it isn't a productive workout. I'd still stick biceps in tomorrow after you pull, and do triceps after your next chest or shoulder workout.

THNX FOR THE CONCERN...I took your advice...I rested...I recouped, albeit not as long as it should have been, but itll catch up....now that my cardio is scaled to 20 minutes at the maximum....calories are through the roof....and I'm taking a minimuim of 2 days off a week....minimum.....No need to lock down the thread, but let's just let me use it as a log for me...I don't need any other postings, belittlings.....yo've been great.....a true hero....same with BIggie.....there are the fat, the envious, the haters, and then the people who have great physiqes and want me to get better.....like yourself...I will learn.
 
Bro.....I do agree with QuadSweep that you need a timetable. You're still 165-169lbs. You need to find the cause of this, and attack it at the root to beat this thing. It is like you set a timetable, then make some progress, then regress. I wish you'd at least run this by a professional and ensure you're getting the best advice you can get. and then use the board as support.

I've said up fron I'll support you through this.....but again, I am not trained in the area of eating disorders/OCD etc etc.

The fact that you think those pics you posted on Anabolic Review look 'faded' and 'bloated' tells me that you aren't seeing yourself how others see you. I could pick out every muscle and insertion point, and they look like shitty cell phone pics with piss poor lighting....."faded" is the last thing that came to mind, lol

I say this......Jan 1 you weigh 175 or you seek counseling....THEN Mar. 15, you weigh 190 or seek counseling.....THEN June 1 you weigh 205 or seek counseling......sound fair?? or at the least cruise above 185.

Come on, man...you're a big dude...you're not supposed to weigh 165lbs....you're 6'2" with a big frame.....look at the size of your mitts in those pics, I say right now set up bpdyweight goals for every 8 week block or 12 week block, if you don't meet them, abort mission and see a Doc and beat this thing.

There is no way you're not gonna look better and feel better somewhere between 200-225lbs and be lean enough for your liking to boot. Even if you bagged bodybuilding, you should still weigh at least 190lbs to start feeling like your normal self again.

You didn't take his advice. You really didn't listen to what he was saying, you may have heard it but you didn't listen. If you need a log why don't you start your own off this main forum? Do you really care about what people think your lifts are like everyday that much? At the rate things are going its highly doubtful without seeing a professional you will ever beat the disease. Everyone on here can see it but you.
 
Hi, I'm a first timer on this show and... it should be a bodybuilder/weightlifting episode that's on Jerry Springer. The audience is into this. We got arguements back and forth. "I'm right, you're wrong" coming from all angles. Advice being thrown to the side because someone has an ego that has to be protected. We got friends from other site's saying the same thing that this site is saying. All we need is a fight that the bouncers have to break up and somebody that's gonna dance on the stripper pole and it's set for a TV pilot.

This is some Jerry Springer type shit for real....

As for a time table - you can't get where your going w/ out a map. Goals are key IMO.

I am stlil alive and kicking foral my supporters....you know my granmada doied and to watch m dad cry was one of the hardest things ththave ever happened to me. His last rmemberence of her was wthe last few years when she looked like a totaly different person. SO, long story short. I dont wanna die looing like I do now....i cut a cord and I am done playing ths ****inggame. I've said it befroe but this is the real deal. I am sayng on 250mg of cyp a week and eaitng whatever the **** I feel like it every two hours/ I weight measily 6'2 and 155. SO its a loooongnever ending cycle......so, whatever I feel like having I will have... I will measure proten...nothing else....my mirrors are covered and I am going to town whever I am hungery. No shakes except pw....StufI haventhad in YEARS! Lat night I had sandwhches, lazana, rice, you name it....today ive had 3 sandwhiches already on to of my oats and flank and rice.....Im going to the movies soon......prob. popcorn, jujus, whatevr the **** i feel like...call me idiort, all me stupid call me fat, fine....sorry boys if you disown me you rhink I;m dumb,,,,its from the old school lee priest style I guess.......this game is over...153 is ridiculous and I realized this when I benched 135 for 6 reps.......Ill start a huge cycle at 180lbs and will hopefully be there in 1 month.........sure..half may be fat, but with some test, maybe I'll get 40% fat.....Its just ging to be my number#1 chore..I fel soooo miserable, you have no idea.....shaking, cold, its over... .......I havent looked in the mirror in 3 days and thats what stopped me before.....test will help me keep he fat at bay....took some time off work to just fouces on eaint and training...I will be on stage......those corn beef sandwhiches were so ****ing good lsdt night, I could eaten 20........240 here I come....stage BOUND! I just don't understand you guys that do that... you're wasting your own time posting in something you could give 2 shits about.

I don't agree with half the shit that goes on in this site, I CHOOSE to ignore it and focus on the stuff that interests me... I suggest you guys all do the same, it makes the threads less cluttered for those that actually care to read about certain topics or contribute to help someone.
 
As many know, I've had trouble eating NONclean forevr....but since seeing a shrink, since seeing the weights go from 225 for 12 to 135 for 10, since feeling like death and since following a strict ass diet, I've realized I'll never compete nor live how I want to by going in thi vicious cycle.


I am not sure how to do it as you know I havent cheated in YEARS.....but this week has been some drastic changing......instead of my normal diet, I eat whenever the fuck I'm hungry (min of 2 hours) and eat until I'm full....nothing crazy YET, but it's going to start...I can diet beter than anyone here (ok, or just as good) plus being on hrt helps BIG time....I come to you guys for SWERIOUS bulking ideas...how doy u bulk dirty or not and then compete? Cause that's my ultimate goal......Dont ay go t wendys and and get 4 tripples cheeses, cause that out....but shit, subway, qquiznos, buffets.....ehwatever...here' what I did yewterday..........remind you, the SOLE reason for this is that I am 160ls at 6'2......8-9%bf....and have always been scred to lose my abs....fuck it now, I'll get em back!
Gettting a TON of congrat PMs....not sure if it's good, but it's good in a sense that you guys care and know you support me to someday reach my goals and get where I want to be. I am truly convinced, with AAS or not, that if I gain 50lbs over the net 12 months (which is lcoming from a starvation state mind you) I can cut at least half off and be back to 10% in 6 mnths or less.........my diet isn't shit...cmon...you guys know me to well. I seriously bet 1/2 my meals are total bodybuilding foods that MOST should be eating and 1/2 are not........or just not in an abundance.

For examplle, my shcedule might look like this

1 cup of oats cup of blackberries, cup of egg whites and a scoop of casein at 7am

at 930 or so I might have some chicken breast, some almonds, maybe a couple of sandwhiches from exekiel bread, almonds.....

at noon or so I'll prob have some flank steak, some ground beef and a minimum of of a cup of rice.........

pretraininging I might have anoth cup of oats, some chicken....etc


then I slam 50g of whey, 50 g of arbs from fig newtowns, 50 g of dextrose


then prebed, it's usually whatever the hell I can force myself to eat.....last night I had my mom's casserole (thank god my parents are sweet and organic and eat very healthy)...it was this spinach dish, with grilled chicken, a little butter, some brown rice, baked...soooo fuicking good I must hae eaten half of the pan.

Today I'l probably hae a few subs from quicznoss, etc...........so is it stupid crazy no? DO I prob. need more, we'll see.....but I'll be 200lbs and staying the hell out of the mirror...........test hjelps big time too!

I'm on board, Jeff....any diet that lets you gradually gain pounds is a good diet for you right now.....Quizno's isn't crap or anything either, I mean it isn't 'precontest' food, but it isn't exactly complete garbage either....plus it tastes good....get a foot long sub and don't think twice about it. Anybody telling you to eat 6 Whoppers is full of it, lol....I could eat a lot, and at NO time ever could I ever physically eat 6 whoppers and 4 quarter pounders and plain old ridiculous stuff like that.......get a foot long of your choice and either a bowl of soup or some baked lays.
 
Don't forget to get teh double meat though... they're skimpy on the meat if you don't IMO.

I've forgotten to say it before and was pissed... it was like eating all bread.
 
Eat more potatoes and pasta. Learn to make delicious olive oil, tomato and meat sauces. There's no need to eat pre-made junk food to gain lots of weight.
 
No need for it..you are absolutely right...but subway and quiznoos are perfects sane and good...trust me.......eating out used to be NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it will be 4x a week max....trust me, Im knowledgeable enough not to do this completely stupid, just stop counting........macros

for example, went to a deli sat, to pick up a tray for my gma.....I was an hour early (THANKS A LOT DAD FOR TELLING ME GO NOW!)

and I had eaten my am oats and eggs 1hr earlier.....sat down had some coffee...glancing at the menu I saw some ff tuna.....hmmm.....but with what I thought? I dont eat bread,...........Gimme a ff tuna on pumpernickle, a diet coke, and a coffeee.......I must have eaten that and cole slaw in about 2 mins.....then the power goes out.....tray will be another 45 minutes.........long story short, I had 3 HUGE HUGE deli subs, ff tuna, then roast beef, then turkey breast and have had close to a loaf of bread everyday since.............havent been this smoth in a long time, nor as weak for that matter *(225x8 for deads yesterday) and I still feel like shit...but this all started monday....today is thurs....Im sure it'll take 2 weeks minimum to feel normal.........oats chicken and almonds now......then train...then I have no clue...all I know is I am bringing back my pw shake that my trainer first told me about 50g whey, 50g carbs from dex 50g from fig newtons, then 1 hour later....hmmmm.......maybe a sub, havent had my bread for oday and havent had quiznoooss?........I just dont have he energy to cook, when I start to get it back, maybe I'll start making some pasta, it is my heritage afterall.,just been monthns and months...............damn I gotta get my gma some choc for yesterday too...I FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!She's my last gparent left.......how the fuck did I forget? I guess when you have an anxiety disorder and can take care of yourself cause you feel like dying every waking second, it's easy to forget, buit I cant do it anymore!!!
 
This is so weird but I really think it all is about the drugs (zoloft) I think I might do quiznos after for dinner after my shake and shower and then tomorrow I cant wait for a friggn bagel with cream chease and eggs dripping from them along with my oats and whey............damn.................my gma better have some cookies at her house tonight too...she's gonna cry!
 
Once again I'm encouraged by your words. Don't give up, we scold you but we want a success story. Eat a lot of Subway double meat subs, my family is franchise owners here in Tennessee. That's how I went from 215 to 240 in 3 years, free food! OK, a little help from AAS...

this is all so weird but even at day 1 I aalways said I would cheat a little......that didn't h&ppen in 3 mnth of insnaity....ive done ate more since mondy than I did in yearrrss...sub right now...161bon the scale.....my max in 4 mnths bappened in 4 days lol...fuck it.....bagel tomorrow m dyingbliiterslly for with my oats......lox?n

I am finally home after beings stuck in an airport for 4 fing days, so typing on a my palm treo isnt the easiest of feasts bro.....some ask if I am wasted, but if you knew me, you'd know that wasnt the case.........just harrd to type when you are #1 stuck in a port and #2 under severe drugs (zoloft, xananx), I owe both of these drugs a huge huge prop...

I have not looked at my full bod in over a week in the mirror. Ironically my gma was a Jew. Shes the only one in my family as my mom came of the boat and my gparents onyl speak Italian. Hoever, the jewish tradition is wen someone dies, you mourn for 7 days, you dont shave, you cover the mirros, etc...no meat.....so, of course my pop followed suit and covered all the mirrors. So I did too.....7 days are up, mine are still covered fromt eh chest down (so I can at leasts stay good looking!!)

My diet has yet to get dirty in your sense, but if it does it does....I am eating a ton more but more wholesome than not....I'm also eating things I ve never had before.....for example

yesterdays meals where in tototal
2 cups of oats
1 cup egg whites
1 scoop protein
a carton of blueberries
1 cup rice
flank steak
cube steak
chicken
2 huge handfuls of almonds'
2 uge sandwhiches
some salad
a uge casein shake


so its geting much better

this weekend should get a iittle ugle...gma wants to go to the o garden fro valentines day since my gpa is no longer here to take here......never ending pasta bowl anyone? I dont feel any better right now, but it's been a week and Im up 9 lbs.....sure its from starving thogh........159, remember when i could get over 160, bet I hit it today, maybe 170 next week? Who knows.....maybe sooner if pizza and wings are on this weekend menus.....I had my oats, egg whites, few eggs this am at t630 with a bnch of berries and I it was a 100% force feed....I'm only eating whenI am hungry from now on, but no longer than 3 hour gaps.....

I really need some honest food suggestions..I love pasta and love bread, just not sre I want them a complete staples.......gimme some choices......desert is a guareuntee tonight.

Noow I just ned to quit overtraining, I havent done an ounce of cardio in 4 weeks......nothing but lift....so I'd like to lift everyday if I can......even if a few days are just light, I NNEED to do something, more for anxiety from working all day than feeling the urge to bun cals.....will this be posible.....?

Remember I am on 125mg of cyp every other day to start........Im staying on this for as long as possible.....prob a good year.

Just cuz you're juicing doesn't mean you should train every day... especially when you're trying to grow.

Go back to the 4 day program... 3 day compound bulk fest if you can.
 
Uderstand............Its not really juicing, but in that sense I guess it is.........I just need some physical release after work and cardio IS NOT THE ANSWWER.........maybe just a light light stretch ckmachine circuit in between heavy liftin days as more of a recovrery method....? Keep in mind, 45-1hr MAX!

125mg EOD is 500mg/week(7 day period)... that's juicing, lol

A serious stretching with controlled breathing routine would be perfect for after work stress release... maybe take a swim real quick too or something if that's available to you.
 
no..sorry...125mg every 3 days.....its juicing...fine...but in March, itll be much much more tbol, eq and a minimum of 600mg

iunfamiliar with the stretch routine....no pool.......not a fan of the 12 rep circuit stretch, deep stretch
