-------------------------------
It's really nice that i found about this forum since i got lot of information especially the Rippetoe routine. I am even considering chaging my routine to that.
I am trying to build a good program what will help attain my goal. I hate looking skinny
Current Profile:
Age 27
Weight 133 pounds
Height 5' 11
Body Fat 12% (Measured by Trainer)
Body Type: Skinny
Primary Goal: Gain lots of Muscle
Secondary: Keep blood cholesterol in check/reduce belly fat
I have been athletic when I was in high school but after that there wasn't any sport/exercise I was doing which would be the reason for my fat/cholesterol.
I tried doing muscle building on my own an year before didn't work out well .. I can say i sucked big time.. Lost weight
This time I have planned to do it clean and got a trainer at my GYM. Even though he tells how i should do each exercise i am not convinced i am doing everything right to get the muscles i need.
Here is my routine:
I do 3 sets with increasing weight 10x8x6 reps
Monday: Legs/Abs
Core Strengths ,Warm-up
Squad
Dead Lift
Some Hydraulic Leg Extensions
Abs
Wed: Chest/Back
Core Strengths, Warm-up
Incline Press
Cable Crossover
Seated Chest Presses
Dumbbell Bent-over Row
Lat Pull down sitting the opposite way.
Cable On Knee Pull
Friday: Shoulders/Biceps/Forearms
Just started with the trainer on this.
Side Lateral Rise
Dumbbell Presses
Bicep Curl
I do Cardio (Biking) 20 Min in the morning after a 3 Scoop CytoGainer Drink.
Food
I think I am doing pretty well with this since I gained like 3-4 pounds in 2 weeks from the time I started my training and food change(before i wasn't taking any supplements/breakfast). Looks like most of it from fat since I don’t see any difference myself.
I get up very late probably 11ish.///
10.30 am Cyto Gainer 3 Scoop with Soy Milk
12.00 Bread/Turkey or 3 Whites
3.30 : Pasta/Noodles/Rice chicken
5.00: Snack : Protein Bar/Milk
7:30: Snack/some carbs
11:00 Dinner Chicken/Fish Potatoes/Beans
I also try to eat at least one banana/some fruits and getting it to the habit to eating whenever possible.
