My legs need help

I have been doing squats with a just wider than shoulder-width stance down to parallel. After that, I do leg extensions to finish my quads off. Problems is, the part of my quad that makes that tear drop shape isn't developing that well. I was wondering what some of you have done to beef up that part of the quad. Thnx in advance.

Do you incorporate other exercises into your leg workout? or is it just squats and leg extentions?

Personally, if my bf is too high, I will not notice the tear drop look that well. It's very faint. Until I start dieting, then it becomes more visible.

I'm curious about your leg workout. What else do you do? That could be an issue.

Okay, I have been doing some reading online and am now convinced that my underdeveloped vastus medialis is causing my kneecap some tracking problems! PLZ help me with some exercises to help me correct the imbalance. Thnx.

Variety......presses, hacks, front squats (bar across the front of your body resting on your front delts)...mix it up a little

Lunges will help.

As well as pointing your toes out(not too much though as it's not good for the knees and don't use too much weight either) will help hit that teardrop portion more.
