ya man..that could work...the alst time i used any music during my workout was pre Ipod
i dont even own one, still got a big clunky ass CD player beleive it or not

guess im lucky though, most gyms i work out at play hardcore music so its all good

haha Understand. Ya the powerhouse I go to plays satalite radio Rock... i like it loud though and helps me concentrate on thw workout rather then the 2 guys that are bullshitting/bragging about how much beer/5ths they drank the last weekend and how cool that is.

The best fighter in the world. The have that open weight tournment coming up, cant wait. I'm sure he'll take it.

They are the best, even the worst guy in Pride would kick your ass badly.

Loaded Moses Check em out @ loadedmoses.com excellent hard rock.

Slayer
Pre Black album Metallica
Sodom
Dying Fetus
Cryptopsy
Dismember

maybe if I was doing a yoga class I'd listen to Atreyu

Hmmm...I gotta agree with Atreyu, Rage, pre-black album Metallica, maybe some Slayer in there,...umm, Unearth and Between the Buried and Me if you like hardcore/heavy stuff. Serioulsy though, it's hard to beat Rage cuz of the metal riffs mixed with the singers almost rap-like lyrics...great for lifting or cardio.

This thread is great!!! I was thinking about this earlier today, I usually throw in some rap or techno or some shit..

Paul Oakenfold - Hallucinogen, if you're into techno and shit, you will love this songs. It's like 8 minutes long and I love it.

Soldier - Eminem... Alot of other Eminem that is pretty good. Not my favorite rapper by far but has some good shit to work out to.

NWA, West side connection, 50 cent... All on my Ipod...

Joe Buddens-pump it up
T.I-click up
DMX-party up in here
Limp Bizkit-Break Stuff
Limp Bizkit-Rollin (remix)
J-kwon Hood Hop
Ice-Cube-Why We Thugs

as mentioned previously, i usually run my wire under my shirt. Never a hassle then. But im contemplating snagging a set of BlueTooth headphones which would eliminate that all together. :coffee:

almost any Tool or APC stuff. The new Tool album is pretty good. I love "Right in Two", but its a lil slower and might not get you guys jacked up.

Great thread. Music really does give you energy at the gym. Ministry NWO when you are trying to squeeze some extra reps out. But I can't believe ya'll left off one of the best gym songs ever.

"Jump Around" by House of Pain. I just hear that beat and bass riff I will lift anything and shake my ass while doing cardio.

I like "Heart of A Champion" by Nelly, from his new album.

Hatebreed - Live for this
Disturbed - "down with the sickness" -
Godsmack - "Keep Away" and "whatever"
...

these are a few good bands/songs I like

i just listen to whatever is on the radio in the gym. Wearing headphones while i workout bothers me for some reason. Also im afraid ill end up crushing my IPOD with a dumbell or somethin b/c i would normally keep it in my pocket.

O.K here are my two cc's
Pantera-most songs on Great Southern Trendkill, all thier stuff is great but Trendkill is just off the charts for aggression.
The obvious ones everyone has mentioned already (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, etc.)

What I have not seen is a band that I suggestfor anyone training or going to war----- Pro-Pain, mostly anything from them, good starters are Foul Taste of Freedom, Death on the Dance Floor, Murder 101, Pound for Pound. All of the newr stuff is great too, it's just too much to list, but everyone check them out.

(Fly On The Inside, 45, Burning Bright, Another Version....pretty much every song of their "Leave A Whisper" cd is some good heavy stuff) Can't forget about Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Korn, and oh yeah who can forget Guns N' Roses.....just throw on "Welcome to the Jungle" and bros better get outta my way cuz I am doing the Vince McMahon powerwalk over to the bench press ready to kick it's ass.

personal fav is We all Die One Day, pumps me up real hard for sets

"As long as I'm here I'm gonna grab checks, and make my cash stretch, longer than giraffe necks..."

Badass song. That one gets me pumped as all hell too. I'm so picky with music. To all who read this...I have one name that you all must learn and love....

JEDI MIND TRICKS

They have some incredibly hard hip-hop (oh yeah, and its definitely offensive and lyrically outrageous) If you do anything...download them.

Get the albums Visions of Ghandi and Legacy of Blood. Trust me...you won't be disappointed.

I honeslty just like to sing opera music outloud in the middle of a heavy set of squats. nothin gets me pumped like beltin out some Pavoratti when im in the hole with 500 lbs on my back

kissman...I go ballistic when I hear "Stain of Mind" and "Disciple" I just can't handle some of the screamin' 80's stuff other than "Raining Blood"
