muscle tear and training

anyone here torn through a muscle while lifting? I tore my forearm muscle quite bad few years back as well as my front deltoid. Now these places have filled with scart tissue and feel kind of empty and weaker than regular muscle and I cannot seem to regain my pre-injury form in terms of overall muscle mass because of not being able to do the same heavy weights.

anyone here ever strained muscle?

Yea I had a slight tear in my back a few months ago. I did it squatting. I didnt regain my strength back because I decided to start running and dieting down once I was able to get back into they gym so I would be a very good example. I went from powerlifting to training in a Military type routine, lots of running, only lifting two days per week, lots of pushups and situps. But on the upside I was more than able to regain my strength back after the injury I just had a change of heart with where I was going with my training.
 
strained my forearm pretty bad a couple years back. I thought it might be tendonitis or something but in the end I think it was a strain or a combo of the two. I had to wear a splint for about a month and lay off the lifting a bit. Havent had any problems with it since(but I also never do heavy preacher curls or anything like that anymore).
