Muscle Spasms

Last night my right lat was having a muscle spasm, where it would just keep on twitching. It was going on for a while, about an hour or so on and off...

I've gotten spasms in other body parts as well, but I was wondering what this means, if it means anything at all. It doesn't hurt or anything but I'm just curious what causes this.

get em all the time.....especially in my legs.....keeps me up at night sometimes.

i get them in my legs sometimes too.

yea i get them in my quads and my deltoids as well...

don't know if i ever felt them in arms or chest though....

I get them often... they usually seem to be a sign I've depleted electrolytes.

Wouldn't water do the same thing and have less carbs than gatorade???
