I just bought some vitamins
Vitamin C, E,
A multi Vitamin and some zinc

how often should i take these? and in what doses?
Im 190lbs 6'0 19 years old, 10% BF roughly, and i Train westisde, roughly one day on one day off. Mostly power oriented

Thanks

Every day !

but not all at the same time

(for example taking zinc before bed on an empty stomach is a good idea)

I take 2g vitamin C and a multi vit. in the morning with breakfast

then i take 2g vitamin C after working out

then before bed i take zinc/magnesium and another gram of Vitamin C

if I don't take zinc or magnesium, i take calcium because it helps you sleep. Don't take calcium and ZMA together though.

I'd suggest 3-4 grams a day of Vitamin C. Because Vitamin C is water soluble, you will excrete it through urine etc. throughout the day so make sure you either take timed-release or split up your pills throughout the day. I use about 1200-1500 IU of Vitamin E a day. Again, I split it up with meals. Most Vitamin E come in 400 IU capsules so three or four a day should do it. Vitamin E and A are fat soluble so make sure you take it with a meal so that it gets absorbed properly. Are you going to take additional A or does your multi have it in it?
If you are going to take more than 400IU's of Vitamin E, make sure your multi has 10,000IU of Vitamin A in it or take a separate Vitamin A.
As for your multi, does it have B vitamins in it and how much?

It depends really. If your diet is lacking in iron rich foods, then you may want to supplement but most multis have iron in them. Sometimes if you take additional iron, it can, well, constipate you.
If you eat red meat, eggs, asparagus, spinach etc., then you should be fine without an iron supplement.

if you are a male, be careful with iron !

why's this? ... just curious

Women need iron more than men since they bleed once a month. Thus in the process, lose iron. Men however, since we don't bleed, can accumulate too much iron and therefore be toxic.
