Oh wow thanks a million Sassy! I really appriciate your feedback.
Front relaxed:
Ok so you are sying im not pushing my shoulders out enough? I like the "look" of how im standing. But if im not showing enough width ill change it.
-- I don't want to say just change what you do - but rather look at some other stances to see how you 'wear' them. One of the basic shapes you look for in both BB & figure is a straight line across the lats / clavicle and big caps on the shoulders. Take a pic of your shoulders pulled out just a little further & see how it looks. If it looks contorted, don't do it- make sure you aren't hunching up at your neck - but just see how it looks. If it looks weird, then go w/ what looks good to you.
Side chest:
You want me to twist towards the judges right. im standing to much front to back?
-- Again see how it looks to rotate just a little further. Also remember that you don't have to just hit the pose & stay locked there - half of the competition is playing to the audience and the judges. They paid money to come see you - you can rotate a little to show the judges - for ex if you are positioned in the middle of your class, your face may only be facing 1/2 of the judges in front of you -- go ahead and make sure all the judges see what ya brought! And again, I dont' mean contort yourself or overrotate to look weird - just display yourself to the whole audience, not just those on the side facing you. Check the photos in the link below -- lots of great examples of these poses!
About the hamstrings yeah. Im pulling the leg in towards the other leg, kinda sitting on it so that the hams pop. but i see ive forgotten to tighten my butt, but(t) ill do that as well.
-- Tighten that ass big boy I thought maybe you were sitting a little harder in the side tri pose than in the side chest - but again since I don't know if you are already sitting as hard as it gets or what, just wanted to point that out. Again its all about trying all sorts of little tweaks & see what makes your assets flex & pop the best.
Im gonna try the triceps grips. the way i do it now you get the mass of the triceps, but none of the shape.
-- Again just suggesting ways to get more out of it for the presentation -- the link below has great variations of side tris, and same comment as w/ the side chest - rotate your body and your shoulder to let the whole audience see - dont' do it fast, make sure to hold any variation you do for 3 seconds at least so you don't look like you are going too fast.
again, thanks a bunch
