Morning Pre-Workout Meal, Let's Hear It!!

Let's say you want to train legs at 9:00 AM.

You wake up at 7:00 AM. What do you eat and when? You're bulking.

I'd go with two cups of oats uncooked, milk to cover, 3 splenda

Two scoops of whey in water

Should be pretty quick to digest in an hour and a half and not leave you bloated.

I don't cook my oats anymore just eat it like cereal

try grinding the oats with a coffee grinder and mixing them with the whey n water or milk.
 
Id do this:
Wake up and have some sort of carbs and lean protein right on the dot of 7.
Then at 9 try and have a bit of Pre WO whey if it takes you about 1.5-2 hours for legs.
If you just ahd 1 meal at 7 and PWO thats nearly 4 hours inbetween meals.
 
I'd go for something that's fast digesting so it doesn't bog down the workout. I'd either go for wms, creatine and bcaas with whey or seperated by 15 minutes for a quick pick me up.

fuck your a champ. id have pure IT-TIS after 2 cups of uncooked oats..

Me if i train legs i usually up my carbs the night before if im trainin in the mornining.. i train high volume so i need the fuel..

pre training if i dont feel like eating i do this

1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup oats
2 tb pb
2 scoops whey..

or 1.25 cups oats with whey and efa...

i usually have oats meal one...
 
3 cups of Cheerios, 1 cup of Uncooked Oats, 4 cups of Skim Milk..an hr to 1.5hrs before.. right before I start to lift I have a blueberry or pomegranate yogurt..

That's 1st breakfast every day actually..but I lift in the mornings on weekends meal remains the same.

I'm on the bandwagon that says "todays meals prepare you for tomorrows training".. Read that around somewhere, maybe here.
 
I sip on 40grams of whey iso while I scramble three whole eggs and one cup of egg whites. Then I would have a whole cup of cooked oats mixed with one half cup of frozen blueberries, splenda, and skim milk. This is my typical breakfast of champions. I would wait an hour and then pop some stims, mix some BCAA/Leucine in water and head to the gym. I personally don't train first thing in the morning. I always have better workouts with a few meals in me. Then again I am not on that high octane stuff either.

I don't like training in the morning either except on the weekends which is when I do two cups of oats and whey.

during the week i usually do 1C oats and 2 scoops whey, then 2hrs later another 1C oats and 2 scoops of whey. By the time I lift around 6:30-7PM I have about 5 meals in me already.
