Training = Gym, Daily. KILL THAT SHIT ADMINISTATION. Going heavy at the gym. I can feel strenght improving. I can also see results in the mirror.
No Cardio after GYM, only cardio 2-3x week (with the wifey to keep my heart healthy) Plus it will be easier to incorporate cardio into my cutting routine in the future.

Im going HEAVY HEAVY in the GYM. Max 5 Reps. Im trying to put on some nice muscle before cutting up.

Personal Bests as of yet
Bench: 200(tried 205 but couldnt quite get it) MAX
Biceps: 70lbs (Reps of 7-8) - barbel, not dumbels
Triceps: 90lbs (Reps of 4-5)
Sqaut: 215 lbs (Reps 4-5)

I havnt recorded the others workouts down as much of these.
I hope my progress will skyrocket since im eating my ass off.

Goals:
Bench: 225-230
Biceps: 60lb dumbells
Sqaut: 250

Thanks Bunnny! yea came a far way with alot of help from this site, thats why i feel the need to help out (aka the nutritionist thread)

At the gym, if HALF the people were more educated they would be working half as hard. Thanks bunny ive tracked yur progress and u have some nice changes as well!

thanks bro! Yea definately HUGE turnaround from last summer.

LoL, my friends last summer called me a cokehead, and now this summer would be juicehead, lol but juicehead sounds alot better. even tho neither one is true, i never touched the white stuff! but in my years to come AAS in a def (older and reached my naturual limits)

Feels Great being skinny. and feels even better beeing SOLID. Plus my diet is on point so summer comes around i will have my 6 pack lol.

And RamRom, Yep about time right!!!! Finally got my schedule worked out and been hitting the gym up. Expensive as hell but worth it, Sauna, All new equipment, tanning and hydromessage.

Tannin is for you juicers and your acne lol its def worth it tho!
 
Im bulking like i said above, so im going heavy weight/low reps.

These are the weights im doing in my last set. Dont worry, these are for my own records, im not just doing 1 chest excercise, im doing incline, cable crosses, butterflies as well.

I don't want this to come off the wrong way cause you've made some awesome progress but I'm shocked you don't lift more. I know guys that look EXACTLY like you who are lifting more, so if anything that probably means with some heavy lifting you'll train your muscles quickly to handle more weight

I dont lift more because i just started training. Well not just started, but started heavy.

Imm training heavy. 3-5 Reps. Heavy Weight. Give me a Month. Ill be where i "should" be.

hey Letsrunit, thansk for the possitive criticism. I love criticism, makes me work that much harder. When im a decent size ill definately get my weak points cricizised so i go harder.

Yesterday was CHEST & Bicep Day

Chest, once again surpassed last weeks max this time.
Flat Bench = 215 for 1 unassisted Rep.
Incline = 135 x 5
Butterflies = 160 x5

Biceps
Preacher Curls = 60lbs 10x
21's = 50lbs
individual bicep burnouts = 25lbs

Felt Great again, My strenght is growing extremely rapidly. Wich i know will slow down once i plateu, but im trying to get as much out of this as i can.

About the Training:

I took my Prenutrition Shake 30g protein/20g of maltodextrin + redline. I was very focused and had alot of energy. Little Fatigue, if i wasnt able to lift a weight, it felt like i just wasnt strong enough instead of just being plain tired after working out.

Followed it up with my PostWorkout of 50g/protien and 30g of maltrodextrin.

Preety decent workout again.

Even though im not the strongest person in the gym, i look around and i am preety happy with the progress i have made and how i look and i am looking foward to the progress i will make.

Great Progress bro. You've given me excellent references points to look at as a guide. I'm dieting now. K to you. I would love to see what your cutting diet looked like as well. Good luck with the bulk. You've got a good frame to work off of.

AHH! 6days! damn time flies!

Lifts are at doing GREAT!

My Lifts:
Sqauts went up another 10lbs to 265lbs.
Bench went up 5lbs, was tired tho.
Most other lifts went up as well, Sholders, Back, ETC all went up atleast 5-10lbs...

My body is really changning. I didnt take update pics because i wanted to a BIGGER difference in Pictures for motivation, so im holding out till next week.

My Good Points: I think my chest is coming in nicely. Also my biceps and my legs are growing. My lower half is doing well(my pants are getting more tighter on the legs)

Bad Points: I think my traps might need some more work, but people comment on them already and i dont want to have them buldging,

Ive just started hitting my chest 2x a week. Decent Shape already.

Lifting notes: As of lately, since i have been pushing my limits, my rest time in between sets has increased. This only applies for the heavy weights. I also tried to this new chest workout.

I laid on the floor with several mats. Used the squat rack bars and placed 285lbs on the bar and laid on the floor and semi benched 285 and held for 3-5 secs. Felt really good and got a good pump. Then i did my dumbell incline and flats.

Another Routine added: Abs. I dont really work my abs but i have started too. I really like laying on the floor and doing leg lifts and having your partner throw ur feet down. Really burns and i usually feel my ABS for several days afterwards.

Today is LEG day. Hoping to go big. 10lbs more than last workout!

Ill take my new pics this friday or sunday.

Worked Shoulders As Well, but my partner needed to rush, so we took 35-45 sec rest between sets so we couldnt go too heavy

Sqauting Felt Really good yesterday. Had my Preworkout Shake + Redline and was ready to go.

During sqauting i took nice long breaks, 3-5 minutes between sets. I tried 285 and was able to lift it 3 Times, so i went for 295. Next week i should be over the 300lbs Mark. YeaH!!

My stomach is coming back in, Had a pig fest this weekend, (STILL ALOT OF GOOD CALS) so i was covered up a little.

Today is either Back + Tries or Chest + Bi's. Still gotta determine, i did Chest on Monday ( kinda switched my routine up). Im not sore or tired so i might work chest.

I also started to work in GABA, for better sleep and more GH stimulation, so if anyone has any expieriences good or bad, could you pm me, or post it up? Thanks!!

Update for you guys!!!! BEAT ANOTHER PR OM BENCH.

Chest *NEW PR Set.
Bench: 225 for One Unassisted Rep.
We also did a burnout excercise(STARTED with 40lbs on each side, all 10lb plates, then did 10reps, took off another plate, then another 8-10 reps, and so on, untill it was just the bar and then we started loading it it 10lbs on each side each set untill we were back where we started. I felt like i was going to puke by my last set, never has 125 been so heavy in my life.
Incline: Dumbels 65lbs x 5
Cable Crossovers: 80lbs X 10

Biceps
Seated Curls with Ez Curl Barbel: 70lbs for 7 reps
21's: 60lbs (if you dont know what 21's are ask, they are my favorite bicep excercise.)
Standing Curl Burnouts: 40lbs x 20

BIG FOOD DAY FOR ME!

Total: 3717
Fat: 94 849 24%

My Preworkout Meal consisited of Tuna Can on whole wheat bread approx 1hr before workout. Then PreWorkoutshake 25gwhey/20gmalto. Oh and the Redline Helped with Explosive energy.

Chest Day felt real good. I feel real strong in the chest now, 2 45's on each side look nice lol. Also i think i was able to jump weight because i did the excercise couple days ago where i laid on the floor and benched the heavy weight on the sqaut rack and did holds.

Got a Good Sleep/Not great but Good. But the food intake was great. I hope to eat big again today for the gym.

I will post update pics tommarow, since i figured on Sunday, after a "good" weekend i am preety bloated from partying. So Imma try to remember to take them tommarow.

I feel i am really putting mass on, simply because at the gym, some guy i havnt seen in about 2 weeks came in and was like whoaa you packed on some mass. he told me to stay away from speghetti and Dbol so it felt good!

DEF Pintoca, I know my stabalizer muscles and joints are not as strong as the rest of me. I dont over do it, if i can lift i can lift it, but if its too hard im man enough to admit i lost to the steel. lol

mm ... that's great! I FEEL your excitement about these increases ... I haven't had time to update the Pre/Post WO thread, but lifts are still going up, scale weight is idle (if not slowly dropping), body is cutting up, and doing my Incline DB curls last night, I would see both heads of the bi's peaking out to say hi :)

My tri's look pretty dang wicked when doing rope work ...

Keep up the great food ... food's doing your body & strength some good :)

I have been adding strenght and size quicky. I know i will platau but as of right now im getting everything i can out of my body.

Yesterday was AB day. Did about 1hr of direct ab work, felt great. Took some pics afterwards for the log.
I know abs are made in the kithhen, i just want a nice big/strong core.

This week i broke my Sqauting PR and My Bench PR. I hope to surpass them next week as well.

Bicep Curls: 40lbs x 10
Tricpe Skullcrushers: 100lbs x 3

Still will eating big this week. MID April is when i go back to cutter.

Scale weight in at 190lbs the other day =] LOVE IT! My abs also have a good outline. Plus i have developed the whole, belly + ab look lol, meaning from the side the abs come out and can see the abs nicely, but w/ a shirt it looks like a hard belly lol

Saturday i did Shoulders + Legs. My lower back was tired from ABS on Friday. Did a crazy routine, wich left my lower back sore, not hurting, just sore. So Sqauting wasnt my best. In fact i just did 3 sets. Light weight 3-5Reps.

Steped on the scale to reveal 190lbs. It feels good to hear all the juicehead comments. Also love the feeling of KNOWING im larger then most. Like MY 2 buddies, 1 swears hes gods gift, and the other 1 is just concieted. BUT 1 works out and 1 doesnt, but they made a bet who has bigger arms by summer. So i pull up yesterday and we start babling and the 1 who works out(the concieted one) is bragging wearing a wife beater, while i sit in my car and grin. Knowing he is about 170lbs wet, i just smile, meanwhile i could be wife beatered up as well, but im staying mildy covered up till mid april. GOD the motivation Fuels me!

Im WAS hoping to hit 200 by the end of the cutter. Realistcly i might hit 195lbs with some BF.

After my bulker i will be cutting, cut back cals to 2500. Same Ratios (40/30/30).
I am also wondering to throw in some Clen 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Just to preserve muscle during my cutting cycle. I want to be under 10%. Right now im prob around 15%. EASY AS CAKE! lol

Chest: I think my lower chest needs more developement, but i have heard that genetics plays the biggest part. Throw some Decline Benches? Or just let Genetics run its course and stick with the Flat/Incline?

Legs: My GF makes fun of my left leg being bigger i dont see a differnce i will have to measure! lol

Back: My back is big i feel, i always felt that was the larger of my muscle groups. My Traps might need some work.

But about the Clen / would it be beneficial at saving muscle during cutting? I have read alot about clen and it seems i would, im just asking if anyone had used it to chime in.

Chest:
225 x 2 this week. Last week it was my 1rep Max
Incline Dumbels = 60lbs x 7

Another Chest Excercise i did was 115lbs on the bench w/ Powerbands. I LOVE POWERBANDS. They really stress the shit out of my muscle. After Doing my regular sets we set up the 115lbs with powerbands wrapped around 150lb dumbells. I love how it gets harder as the higher you go, i really feel this is going to help blow out my max. I will blow out my max next training day 235lbs! Also i havnt been really sore in the chest much lately, well lets say im sore as fuck today, and im saying its because of the BANDS. They force a nice negative on you.

Biceps:
Hammer Bar Curls 70lbs x 10
21's = 50lbs x 7 x 7 x 7
I worked my biceps untill i felt a slight pain in the right bicep. Def over strained it. But its not those pains "man i wish i stoped lifitng heavy" because i actually did stop lifting heavy before the pain really hurt. Went till failure each rep before the pain started. but the pain is just a overtrained pain, not near the elbow or anything like that. My biceps were so PUMPED tho yesterday i had a hard time drivning home and they felt like they were going to POP. WHAT CAN I SAY, GREAT GYM DAY.

Chest day felt great. Even tho my boy joe was going for his new PR, 315. I was having fun with my 225 x 2 lol. hey, its a wonderful thing what dbols can help you lift. I wish 315 lol, but thanks to my DIET i do look better =]

Starting to get too big for my tank tops. starting to "fall" out of them. Also my Pant legs are getting too tight. Not the waist, the waist is still 32-33, but my LEGS are getting very tight.

I also feel my stress levels since being in the gym have lowered significantly. I guess the gym is where i got to do my KILLING!

I was leaving the gym yesterday, well i was done, im leaving and the door to exit is next to the threadmill area, and u can see the linup of threadmills. Well, as i was leaving my boy george was behind me, so hes like yo i think ALL the chicks on the threadmills are looking at you, so i looked over and i seen about 5-7 women all different body types/ages/hotness looking through the glass, i didnt think they ALL were looking at me but i gave em a way just to see who was looking at me, and who was looking in the direction lol, well needless to say i got almsot all the hand waves back like it was a movie, yes i know i pwned the cardio area! buhahah, lol it finanly feels really good to have a good sense of self confidence.

Im back! LOL


My GF got me REAL Sick. Head cold, w/ naussea and sore throat. Was real sick. I trained 2 out of the 3 real sick days so i didnt really let anything go to waste.

I couldnt EAT at all. MY diet was very very shitty reguarding calories, PLUS i ran out of protein(whey) so i couldnt even have Liquid meals lol.

BUT i DID FORCE MYSELF BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER ALL NIGHTS.
(big ones too)

I trained my Triceps Tuesday But only my triceps(starting really feeling ill)


Wedsday, took completey off, felt way too run down.

Thursday, Feeling better so went to gym, trained legs and Shoulders

LEGS:
Box Sqaut:243 x 5
Leg Presses: 200lbs X 2(200 LB rubberbands)

Shoulders:
(Went sort of cheap, started feeling run down)
25lbs Front Lateral Raises x 10
25lbs Side Lateral Raises x 10
Shrugs: 80lb dumbels. x 10

Only good thing from the Sickenss was, the much needed day off, and my abs coming in better (since i was low cal couple days lol) :rolleyes:

TODAY is bench day, and im Going to KILL that Shit!

Going to beat my Max of 225 with either 230 or 235, wich should i try first heh?

Also i have been incorporating the rubber bands into the workouts and lets say the rubberbands feel so good with tension. I hope my strengh goes through the roof with them.

Hey Bunny! Whats is up!!!

dont worry havnt slipped up on the training, BEEN raining harder then ever. Diddnt break no PR's this week, wich is fine, I just got relocated closer to my home w/ my job. So during the move no posts.

Also, my bulker is slowly coming to an end. MID April. I am very pleased with myself. I have gained alot of size. im weighing in at about 193, but havnt verfied at my gym's scale. Electronic BF Tester(hand grip) said i was 11.9%, wich i know is lower then what i am.

Im hoping to cut up to about 185 - 180. No less then 180, but i prefer 185.

Pics will be posted this friday, since it is most likely the last "big" bulker week!

PR's going for this week:
Bench: 335
Sqaut: 315

Last Post i mentioned i was going for 235 Unnassisted. NAILED IT! 1x. :evil:

APRIL 11, 2006

Bench: SET NEW PR!
Flat Bench: 235 x 1
Incline Bench: 185 x 3
Cable Crosses: 100lbs x 7

No Rubber bands that day for chest tho, took a break from the bands. BUT did an amazing DROP - RELOAD Set.

Started w/ SIX (10lbs) Plates on each side. Repped untill almost failure, Take off TWO (10lbs) and rep till almost failure. BY the time you get to the bar, first off people are wondering why your struggling with only the bar lol, and then you have to RELOAD the BAR for 3rep range. I dont usually persperate too much at the gym, but let me tell you i was DRENCHED after this damn routine.

Triceps:
Skull Crushers 80x7 90x5 100x3 100x3
DID other Tricep excercises, ABOUT 4 All together (including DIPS)

ATE BIG that day too!

April 12, 2006

My training partner and I felt like we werent hiting our biceps enough (hard enough) since we were doing back then bi's. Now we rotated for the day and i was able to rip my biceps up!

Biceps:
I usually start with 21's to get a nice burn in the begginging. I do the normal 21's, 7 Reps in each bicep range. BUT when i move up in weight i lower the reps to 5 reps (15's) and then 3reps ( 9's)

21s: 80lbs
21s: 80lbs
15's: 90lbs
9's: 100lbs ( was not able to complete) had to drop back to 90lbs.

Other workouts included Seated Preacher Curls, Standing Dumbell hammer curls, Standing Individual Curls.

THEN HIT UP DEADLIFTING FOR FIRST TIME!

I had to actually go and get some1 to really show me how to do it. I didnt wwant to be pulling anything w/ wrong form. When i got my form down completey, since it was my first deadlifting i took it easy.

Only loaded up Two (20kg) Wich is a low number yes i know, but hey i wanted to warm those muscles up for next week lol

Today is LEG Day and im gonna rip that shit up! Gotta beat my PR for sqauting, havnt in about 2 weeks. =]

I never use to either, and no one could understand why, my training was intense ... hmm, these days, I'm drenched all the time ... :) AT least I smell pretty :) speakin of I need to shower! Today I kicked 'Sprints' ass... and NOT vice versa... how i like it :evil:

Hey guys/gals. Had a great Sqaut day in the gym. My previous max was 295. I banged out 305 x 1 on a box Squat Unnassisted. I went for 315, but stood up but was on the way down before my spotter had to assist me.

Legs: BEAT SQAUT MAX!
Box Sqaut w/ 5 Mats Equal or little less than parralel 295 x 3 305 x 1
Leg Presses: 230 x 10 w/ 90lb bands for resistance.
Leg Extensions

About the leg presses, since i think they pussy compared to sqauts i went hard real hard. My last set was to about failure, and when i racked it, there was a pain in my head, right on the top of it and i thought i was gonna barg it up. Pain went away within 10 mins.

It was also ab day. My partner and i killed abs today.

Decline Situps
Leg Raises
Leg Lifts(with partner throwing legs down)
Used the Hyperextension bench, put some 200lb bands on and proceded to do situps.

Really burned the abs.

I think you should extend it a little bit longer.. you are having great success with this, and you ALREADY KNOW how to cut the phuck up pretty damn fast ... BUT not too fast now :) ... You are following my cut, so you just saw the last big drop for me.. took 5 weeks but it happened ... the scale isn't moving but the definition & striations are popping.. I SEE my body changing, I'm loving this ... I say go for it...

Thanks Bunny, yea, im def gonna extend it to May. Since this whole bulking phase i did NO CARDIO. So adding that into the mix will do amazing things for me.

Nice on your progress bunny really motivates me to hit it hard, if you can hit it hard and have motivation to get out there and do what u gotta do then anyone can atleast try to succeed and i think im coming along preety good. I'm cutting, I'm shrinking literally ... skin tightening, I can see my 6 pack, I am trying to stay b/w 1800-2200 cals, maybe even go higherb/c I'm hungry all the dang time... (last night I think it was 2700) ... (and I REALLY DO NOT like to use these #'s for anything but tracking progress) ... my scale weight rarely moves... last 3 BF tests my LBM has increased, my lifts & strength & endurance have INCREASED ... (and I try to keep diet/training the same 2 days before , same girl doing a 7pt pinch... avoid as much deviation as possible ...) I dropped almost 5% in 19 days on the last one ... that drop was expected yes, but the fact can use those #'s to say YES, what I am seeing & experiencing is happening ... You already know I cannot use anything to 'help' along the way .. so doing this naturally, and seeing what my body is capable of it AMAZING... and I guess I'm going to take being called a 'mutant' as a compliment.

Hey guys/gals. I hope everyone had a good easter and got their good cheat meal in for the week lol. :Chef:

I hit the GYM on SAT nice and HARD on my chest.
It was basically the second time i was going to be working on my chest last week, so i wanted to mix things up.

Chest:
Did lockouts. : Placed mats on the floor inside the sqaut cage so i would be as close to the bar as possible. Proceeded to do 15s Lockouts. Started with 135 and worked my way all the way to 275. Got the 275 up one time for a good hold of 15seconds. Couldn't do it again. Dropped weight to about 255 and was able to do more lockouts.

Flat Bench w/ bent Bar so i was able to go LOWER in the rep range to improve my bottom strenght. FELT REAL GOOD Hitting that angle. GOT 150lbs on the bar.

Incline Barbel w/ 65lbs x 5.

Decline Bench: 185lbs. Did these w/ Little rest period. I had no spotter either that day, got a close call, went up halfway couldnt lockout came down and hadda rack on the safetey rack. SEE what little rest does lol almost killed me. FELT GOOD THO, havnt hit declines in a while.

Cable Crosses: Started with 70lbs x 10 worked my way to 100lbs x 7.

Only hit chest today. GOOD ASS PUMP.

FOOD intake / Water wasnt great. BUT did eat BIG. My girl treated me to FRIDAYS. I get the jack daniels sampler. RIBS/CHICKEN/Shrimp.

Was planning on hitting the gym after Easter Dinner. BUT dinner ran long. Didnt pig ate too much, but it was good. NO GYM =[ BUT got to watch the Sopranos.

Prob gonna hit up bi's & back today.

This weeks GOALS: ;)
HIT 245 for 1 rep on Flat Bench. If i cant hit 245 then imma KILL it 240.
HIT 310 on Box Sqaut.

hey bunz, hell yeah dith the drinking, my last drink was month ago about and before that it was 2 months. I just drank HEAVY HEAVY 2 summers ago and i most likey have some estrogen fat storage there.

DIET is still good, WEEKDAYS MON-FRI my Diet is ON POINT. but come the weekend, i cant find time to eat AS clean, but couple of the meals are meals i would normally eat.

Thaks bunz, i think the sesamax would really help me during cutting. I would already be eating clean as hell, it would just help.
Gotta spread some more K before passin to ya again!

You seem like a great guy and are dedicated, and I really like seeing that. So, please take this as constructive criticism from someone interested in seeing you succeed.

1) Have you considered working full body sessions multiple times per week, or at least hitting the body parts multiple times per week?

2) You aren't working your back. I have seen your comments on feeling like your back is big enough. I'm going to say this as politely and sincerely as I possibly can: it's small. To make things worse, all the chest work you are doing is eventually going to lead to some muscle/joint imbalances that can lead to injury.

3) At the end of the day, if you ignore the concept of the first point, please, please do not ignore point number 2. Shoulder injuries SUCK and will stop any progress you make.

You seem to have a good relationship with *Bunny*, so if this post rubs you the wrong way, please confirm with her my very sincere intentions.

Honestly, Not Really. I do my Sqauts/Deads 1x week basically. I wanted to incorporate the Clean and Press, but my Training Partner(wich i jumped into his routine, always bitches cuz of the fuckin pussy metality people have about getting hurt. BUT i guess fuck his ideas imma do what i have to do.)

Totally right on this one, but i do work my back, i guess the post i must have not been too clear, i work my back, i just skipped last weeks back day. But your right, i do work my chest(i feel its lacking) more than the back, wich will cause an imbalance, wich i will have to start fixing now. I do my deadlifts and rows, any other important lifts i need to throw in?

Shoulder injuries are horrible i have seen grown ass guys shrink when they blow there sholders out. Im trying to let this NOT happen to me.

Dumbell Front and Side Raises:25s x 5

Back
DEADLIFT: 309LBS (3 20kg each side) x 2 W/ Correct form, I litterly had 4 people standing around me making sure i didnt cheat, i really do not want to learn this the wrong way.
Rows on Machine: 150lbs x 5
Machine( cant think of name, but you sit in the chair w/ chair on stomach and u basically are doing a row): 180lbs each arm.

Went very heavy today, Got to help my back catch up. ATE Like a MOFO, but clean. Very good day.

People are really starting to notice/see the changes. More and more people conversate about my routines, etc. I wear a shirt that says SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LIFT, but i guess people cant read lol

This is the routine my Partner and i Follow:

Back+Biceps(Usually)
Chest+Triceps
Shoulders+Legs

Abs are usually done on our "off" day

I want to hit the back 2x week and Triceps 2x week. (since i heard alot of power comes from the triceps in the bench.) I have a bet with this fuckin chump that i will outblast his becnh in 2months compared to his work at the gym(he says 2 yrs) So i do have serious motivation. I hate little punks who think that because theyre 1 excercise (bench) is better than mine, i told him to stand under 305 Sqaut and it would crush him. My Max bench is 235 right now, his is 250. I got some time left before the summer so i want to atleast be close to 250. so when i say lets go big boy, i want to hit my 250 1 rep, and then ask him to sqaut 315(i hope to hit 315 by the time also lol) I would like to work legs 2x a week too, but my legs are getting too big. GF doesnt like it too much as well as i like where i am at now. I have a 32in waist, but my pants are tight only on the quads(upper leg area also) So legs are suffice.

But how does this sound?

Back + Shoulders
Chest + Triceps
Legs + Abs
Back + Biceps
Chest + Triceps

I cant figure out a good timely spaced routine but i like the above one..

2 Days inbetween Back Days
2 days between Chest + Triceps

Enought time?

Im still eating 3000cals+ so Recovery and Healing time is quick. Not too sore lately.

Im also going to throw in some Clenbuterol in a week or 2, so when i start dropping my calories, i am taking an anticatabolic drug (plus it would help nicely w/ cutting)

Any Advice?

I saw chicken and ribs being eaten in here and I had to post something just to subscribe. You're looking good, man, nice and vascular and athletic, crazy since you're bulking.

If you want advice on back work, I can offer my opinion. Your exercise selection is good, deadlifts are king. I'd train them progressively though, either 5's or 3's and not to failure so you can keep adding weight to the last set weekly. Also, I see rowing, which is good. I think barbell rows are the best type of row, but if you choose something else, again, pick a rep range and train it progressively, whether it be 5's or 8's or 10's or whatever. Do you have any experience with the olympic lifts? If not, try some jump shrugs, they're cake to learn and your traps grow instantly, your shirts will fit funny by the 3rd week doing them. I'd also think in terms of 'pressing' rather than 'chest' and 'shoulders'. I'll leave program design to you and Nelms, you're in good hands with him.

I'll have to pop in here regularly, and make sure to post your cheat meals, I am going for ribs ASAP now, lol.

Ok, my reps/sets vary on esxcercise. I only post my Last SET. Sorry im gonna start typing out what i did to get to the last set.

DEADLIFT: 309LBS (3 20kg each side) x 2 W/ Correct form, On my Forth Set of Four i was able to get it up 2x. I went for 3, but just couldnt get it up.

So example. 150 x5 200x 5 280x5(but usually hit 4-5) 309x 2 (tried for 3 but only hit 2)

So i do do 4 sets per excercise. and about 3-4 excercises per muscle group.

Ex: Chest
Flat - 4 sets of 5
Incline - 4 sets of 7
Cable Crosses - 4 sets of 10
Flat Bench w/ Bands. 4 sets of 5 if heavy or 10 if light

Anything i can do to make it better. I really like getting exhausted/failure. Thats why i go heavy or go home. Im also bulking right now so the excess cals are buidling muscle. and i am getting stronger, so i figured go heavy as i possible can because when im cutting my streght wont increase as greatly and cutting i can hypertrophy training.

Training Update!

Hit up Chest + Tricpes yesterday. Killer Day. Couldnt Pass my Max, but i tried. Next Chest day =]

Chest:
Flat : Last Set was 225 x 3
Flat w/ Rubber Bands: 115 x 5 ( i love the Negative Force and the Expolosion power) Also Failed on 5(needed spotter)
Incline Dumbell: 70 x 5
Cable Crosses: 100 x 7 going for 10.

Triceps:
Skull Crushers : 100lbs x 5
Sit down Extensions over Head: 80lbs x 5
Weighed dips with legs in front: 20 reps. w/ 45 lbs.

*Notes*
I tried for my Max on chest 245lbs couldnt hit it, tried 240lbs missed it ( got stuck at point and came back down) So i dropped back to 225 for 3 reps.

Im also wondering, one of the guys at the gym, When he goes for his max he puts his feet all the back, and archs his back. And when he drops the weight it just doesnt look like how i do it.

I 1 2 3 lift, and lower the bar, with NO Arch and my feet in normal spot. But he says he can lift more like that. Whoes doing the MAX right? Me by not cheating? I cant figure it out.

I was also told that bench pressing involves more tricep than pec. I told them yea if you hold it close grip. So wich is more important, a wide grip or strong triceps?


Reverse Pull downs: 120 on machine For 10 Reps.

Today i feel real sore, probably from the deadlifts 2 days ago, and now my chest and triceps already are sore (wich i am not used to feeling bcause the soreness started to not come after workouts)

My eating was good yesterday.

Atleast 3200 cals. Prob more. After the gym, Smoked some Bud, and came home to a PLATE, now a HUGE PLATE of Chicken Nuggets(home made fried, but hey what can i do when i didnt cook it) and devoured the entire plate. I had to have atleast 2-3 chicken breasts lol FUCKING GOOD.

TODAY is LEG Day, time to get psyked about that!! I hope to hit another PR, but we'll see how i feel. Real achy from last workouts. But thats here at work, at the gym i loose sense of tiredness.

MM, you'll make more long-term progress by actually not going to failure because you can keep adding weight to your set/rep range, which increases workload over the course of weeks and months, and that's what causes your body to adapt.

You'd be better served going to 295x5, then 305x5 the next time, then 315x5 the next time, when you jump too fast and compromise reps, you're more or less doing a max attempt and for lack of a better word, blowing your load too soon. With the gradual jumps that allow you to maintain the selected rep range, you're progressing each week and when you do blow your load, you'll have acquired much more strength over the course of 7 or 8 weeks than you would have killing yourself by the second week.

The olympic lifts are the clean and jerk and the snatch, but the ways of training the 2 contested lifts are very beneficial to anyone, even if they don't ever plan on doing the full versions. The power versions, clean and snatch pulls, pulling from the hang and off blocks, etc.....the hypertrophy effects of these are in the traps and upper back, and the reason for this is that the top of the pull for most is a jump shrug (some guys are all legs and don't shrug, but I am speaking generally).....if you've never done the lifts, a jump shrug is a dynamic pull that is EASY to learn and really overloads the traps and upper back.

It's an explosive shrug. You shrug fast and as hard as possible and rise onto your toes. You're really trying to do a vertical jump with the bar, but the weight doesn't allow you to get to far off the ground, just to give you an idea how explosive they should be. You shrug the shoulders as hig has possible, like you're trying to pull them over your head.

LEg day is killer DAY! But i hit my abs too so atleast im doing something easy lol. EVEN THOUGH I USE RUBBERBANDS, RESISTANCE, ETC. lol ;)

I bet with all the knowlede and willpower you have your LEGS will look Great (personal opinion shared by most us efers' is that they arelready look great) but i could imagine with more work what they will look like. GREAT Progress and dedication on your part.

Yea i stoped by the ladies forum, figured if anyone needs a moral booster since most ladies like to hear words of encouragement. They give them selves less credit then they deserve. Alot of hard workin ladies over there :qt: Some preety ones too =]

ATF Sqaut w/ Bands(smaller black ones approx 90lbs resitance, Two bands.): 75x10 85x10 85x10 85x10. Didnt want to switch weight on this one, i was concentrating on exploding up. Trust me, by 6 i was struggling my way up.

Leg Presses w/ Two Black Bands: 180x10 270x7 360x5 360 x 5. PLUS THE BANDS. THE BANDS are what really kills me, the negative force they give is just amazing. I can really feel fatigue with the bands.

Leg Extensions: 110x10 130x10 140x5 120x10

ABS!
OH MY GOD Was it AB Day? Yes it was! We fucking killed our abs yesterday and it felt great!

Attached Green band to Hyperextensions chair and proceeded to place band around the head and do situps that way. OH MY GOD it burns. Feels great and the band pulls your ass back to starting possition so you have resitance both ways constantly: Did Reps of 50 Four times, with my partner slapping my abs so i made sure to really keep them tight.

Leg Lifts On the Royal Chair: 3lb weights on ankles 25reps X 4 sets

Medince Ball ab work, partner through med ball went down hit ball behind head and got up and threw it back. Did this 2x for sets of 25. Didnt feel too much of a burn from these those.

Ab work on swiss ball. Lay on back with weight in one hand for balance, would proceed right elbow to left knee, then left elbow to right knee, then regular crunches, but all while on the swiss ball. We seen the ab class doing this(all chicks) so i was skeptical, but my abs are killing me and they are really hard to do. DID 4 sets of 15, 15, 15.

Decline Situps, with wood plank for even more elevation Wearing a 50lb vest!: Did reps for 3 sets. These are how the sets went: DID 10 full ROM situps on decline, and then 10 crunches.

Crunches in crunch chair. 15x120 15x120 10x140 5x140.

NOW IF THAT AINT A KILLER AB DAY THEN I WANNA SEE YOUR ROUTINES. lol

I was in deep shit. So i gave her some head and we are all back to our normal selves again! lol
MY GF doesnt realize, even though i said the woman talkking to me was HOT, i still think my GF is hotter. So i just brush it off and thinks shes crazy. BUT DAMN 3 woman, and my GF cought all 3 thats bad luck. But it feels good, shh dont tell her. :chomp:

lmao, she does, shes having trouble with this transition, but shes working on it. Shes a doll. She having problems with everyone hitting on my ass. BUT on the other hand i HATE when people hit on her, wich happens all the time. But im just really confident about my self, and shes semi-confident on her self esteem. WICH the gym i really think is boosting her self esteem by 100%!

Ab work on swiss ball. Lay on back with weight in one hand for balance, would proceed right elbow to left knee, then left elbow to right knee, then regular crunches, but all while on the swiss ball. We seen the ab class doing this(all chicks) so i was skeptical, but my abs are killing me and they are really hard to do. DID 4 sets of 15, 15, 15.

Decline Situps, with wood plank for even more elevation Wearing a 50lb vest!: Did reps for 3 sets. These are how the sets went: DID 10 full ROM situps on decline, and then 10 crunches.

Crunches in crunch chair. 15x120 15x120 10x140 5x140.

Another good/bad not(more good!) My GF was waiting for me by the door, she was in a bad mood to start with, but shes waiting for me to leave and im jabbering it up. So as im leaving a very HOT woman, is like hey, werent u doing these ab things blah blah and i prob came off as semi flirting. GF got mad but she got over it. So i ask her why shes so mad she tells me, That another girl as she came in double looked me and was like holy shit is that mike and nicole was like yea so she was already annoyed and then she cought another girl in the ab section really talking to me. I was in deep shit. So i gave her some head and we are all back to our normal selves again! lol
MY GF doesnt realize, even though i said the woman talkking to me was HOT, i still think my GF is hotter. So i just brush it off and thinks shes crazy. BUT DAMN 3 woman, and my GF cought all 3 thats bad luck. But it feels good, shh dont tell her. :chomp:

Great job on the abs! Forgive my ignorance but isn't it dangerous to put a band on your head for abs (just worried about your neck).

When you get comps from other people is just solitifies the progress you have made. I think it is great!

Transition ... I have enough experience in that, that's for sure... you know there is more to life than the physical aspects of a person, but in fitness & training the physical should be appreciated, no doubt.... esp. when you've made such a transformation, and I'm speaking in general terms here, NOT trying to pick on your sweetie. I'm sure you guys are cute, happy & in love :) You're young enjoy it ...
