Military guy fat loss

I am in the Military and competed last year at 235 well I am currently at 285 and my trainer says I am at 12 percent bodyfat. Well the military has me at 30 percent because they use the tape method. I need to drop some fat to avoid getting in trouble. I carry all of my fat in the off season in my stomach. I still look big but good they just have the rules I have been told. Anywhy I am going to do a semi cutting cycle 150 a week of tren and 100 a day of clen and a over the conter fat burner. I was just asking your input if you dont mind. I am going to do my pre contest diet as well as cardio 6 days a week, however I will continue to lift heavy. What do you all think.....

Another fellow south carolinian here :)
Tape method? what the hell is that? Tell them they're tards and you'll militarypress any officer then run a sub 7 minute mile.

You must have a small neck and big waiste. You'll have to diet down to make your wasite smaller, get your neck bigger or stay the same weight and be flagged for a few months. Heres the regulation for weight control:

Your First Sergeant and Commander must be fucked up, dude. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! If you are passing your PT test, especially at 270 or above (I know 290 is the goal and like 180 is a failure???), then there is NO reason they should sweat you over your tape test. However, if your PT test is seriously in the toilet, then you are in the wrong. What unit are you serving in?

yeah i have a 37 waist and a 15 neck it sucks... Thanks though
I find it hard to believe that anyone can have a 15 inch neck and yet be over 180lbs and in shape. I must have measure 100's of people over the years and never see anyone over 200lbs with 15 inch neck, unless they looked like the michellen man.

yea I am with marqui on that. I have never seen anyone over 200lbs with a 15 inch neck in shape. If you want to stay in you got to get that neck bigger bro. I weigh more then you, but my neck is 20 inchs. It dont matter PT stud or not if you cant past the tape your in trouble.
I would say to make sure you start training your neck more when you start your diet. With the lose in weight it might get even a little smaller so you got to make sure you are training it. How tall are you?

in the Marines even if u have a 1st class PFT if ur over ur wieght u get taped. im always 1st class and always over weight and always get taped.

It does'nt matter if you pass your pt test in the army wither, if your over weight then your over weight, and if your over weight they need to know if you have a high body fat. The tape test is an easy test to do, not allways 100 percent accurate, but for the most part its pretty close.

After about 2 yrs in the Army I had to have the tape test everytime we weighed in because I was 5'6 and weighed 195lbs. When I would walk up for the tape test the would just laugh because my neck was 18 1/2 & my waist 31inches so I passed the test easy everytime. That is crazy to only have a 15inch nech at over 250lbs!!

in our unit in the Navy there was a guy who disputed his bf% as measured by the tape. He was a pretty big guy approx. 290lbs or so and the tape method had him over 30% bf%.

He entered his dispute in and they sent him out for the hydrostatic test and got him dipped and his percentage ended up being around 18%. This was many years ago so i don't remember the exact process, but i do know it's possible to dispute the tape measure method.

Hope that helps.
